🧀 It’s National Cheese Day! 🧀

Here at Amber Restaurant, we carefully source all our ingredients from Scotland’s mountains and glens, rivers and seas. And cheese is no exception! Our Scottish cheeses served in our platters come from Highland Fine Cheeses in Tain and Connage Highland Dairy in Inverness. Highland Fine Cheeses focus on mould ripened cheese, such as our Blue Murder and Connage supply our kitchen with deliciously creamy, handcrafted Clava Brie.

Did you know whisky and food are perfect partners, and Scotland’s national drink goes particularly well with the flavoursome, mouth-coating qualities of cheese? We have a range of selected whisky tasting flights available in the bar which can be matched with a cheese platter – give it a try!

Our Spirit of the Tattoo package which takes place prior to Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo this August is now available to book. If you are looking for a culinary Scottish dining experience, with a journey through the heart and soul of Scotland, this is for you! Be treated to a bespoke recital by members of the Tattoo cast in our Amber Restaurant, whilst enjoying a three-course meal. With wine, a dram of whisky matched with your dessert, followed by coffee, this truly will make for a memorable evening. You'll also be escorted straight to your seats after your evening with us.
