Karolina is one of our Duty managers and has been at Element for around 3 months. She has a whole bunch of previous Cocktail experience from her old workplace, with extensive knowledge on some amazing flavour combos! Her favourite thing from our menu is the Baked Brie, and she is sure to have a good idea of a cocktail that would be best paired with it, no matter your taste preferences. When she's not in work, she loves some time to crochet. So if you're a crafty gal as well, come on in and share some stories!

Its Dave! Our deputy general manager who is relatively new, having been with us around 3 months. Dave has been all over the place, lived in more countries than we can count and has just as many stories to boot. He loves an after work bevvy on a sunny day, and swears by a good pint of our very own Cold Town (as pictured). We don't advertise drinking games.... but if we were to suggest one, it could include something along the lines of a drink every time you hear him say 'Hey Sugar'... We won't be liable for the friends you have to carry home.

It's Millie! The sweetest gentle giant, Millie got pats from every single staff member because just look at that face... who could ever say no to it? She got to enjoy a rare moment of Scottish sun out in our outdoor seating area, and was an adorable surprise to everyone walking by. 600/10 would have back.

Hello Classic Cocktail Thursday. With it very nearly being the end of the week, we totally get it if you need a little boost or a pick me up and we have just the thing! Just a little Espresso Martini. Made using Vodka, Khalua, sugar syrup and a whole bunch of Cold brew, this guy is going to give you the proper energy kick you've been craving.

Say hi to Harry! He's been with us around a year and a half and is our cocktail enthusiast. He's been bartending for quite a while now and has a particular passion for Gin. Since we have such a big gin range, its definitely worth asking about his thoughts on what'll suit you best. His favourite food item is the BBQ chicken burger and it pairs really well with one of his notorious dad jokes, ask him for his best one next time you're in!

Meet Teddy and Branigan, two of the sweetest, most tired boys to walk into the pub. The had been out and about all day with their owners, and the whole lot of them deserved that drink. 300/10, would have back.

Amanda's Version. Amanda is one of our Duty Managers, having been at Element for a little over a year. She swears by the Cauliflower wings with Barbeque sauce, and will never turn down an Espresso Martini or a Margarita. If we had to give her a theme song, it'd be "Just a girl" by No Doubt, so its not really a surprise that she claims midlife crisis once a month despite only being in her mid 20's. She's one of our friendliest team members, so why not come in and say hello!

It's Honey! The sweetest little Spaniel, Honey spent the better part of a day hanging out in our outdoor area, giving puppy dog eyes to every staff member who came out to greet her. And we do have to say she has some gorgeous puppy dog eyes! 200/10, would pat again.

Its Sunday, and you know what that calls for? Sunday Roast! This week we are highlighting our veggie option. A Scrumptious Stuffed Butternut Squash, served with a Yorkshire pudding, rosemary roasted potatoes, maple glazed root vege and a delicious veggie gravy. Cammy Edition. Cammy is one of our part timers that has been with us for just over a year. More often than not, you'll find him behind the bar passing out solid knowledge of our tap beers, including his favourite - the Stewart Brewery Nitro 80. His favourite food on the menu is specifically the Buffalo ranch sauce (usually found on the Cauliflower wings or fries, but we won't judge him for just ordering sauce) and he has a hobby of collecting bricks. Wanna know more about that? You'll have to come in and ask!

Say hello to Caitlin, one of our newest staff members - having been here just over a month. She is our resident Australian, fresh to Scotland and excited to see where the adventure takes her.

Whilst she is only just working her way through the menu, she is most looking forward to trying the Burrata. She is also looking forward to dipping her toes into the pool of flavoured gins, with the Whitley Neil peach on the top of her list. Have you tried either of them yet?
