With trade picking up and the euros and festival fast approaching we are now on the look out for a part time superstar to join our team 😁

Shifts would be mainly evenings and/or weekends between 16 and 20 hours per week. There would also be the opportunity to pick up some extra shifts where available.

Rate of pay is £11.44 per hour paid weekly on a Friday.

Some experience would be preferred but is not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate. A positive mentality, outgoing personality and a willingness to work hard and learn is a must.

PART TIME BAR STAFF

We are looking for someone to join our team at Scotts of rose street, we are a friendly locals bar driven by sport. If you are hard working, friendly, Flexible with shifts and looking for some part time work please get in touch.

2-3 (more if you want) shifts a week available. Vary day and nights.

Wages paid direct to bank account (No cash in hand) this includes flexible holiday pay, pension scheme.

We also offer a free taxi home after late shift
Free juice/snacks on shift and discounted alcoholic drinks (off shift)

I shared the message below a few months ago, with this now settled down (and no help has been seen for draught products or anything for that matter) and suppliers again have had another increase, That’s 2 since our last increase in the pub, I have been forced yet again to review costs.
The increase are not only suppliers but also wages, rates and once again utilities and the pub has unfortunately took its biggest hit since before covid on that.

I will be looking at this over the next few weeks. Some suppliers really have kicked us right up the arse with the increases so these products will go up more that the rest (main being Guinness and Heineken products)
I will also be working with Brooke to introduce a reduced price midweek to help with this.

I really hate doing this part of my job but I also want to still have a job of keeping everyone happy in our city local pub, when this does come into effect please be courteous to my staff it’s out there hands.

Morning,

Starting from today (August 1st, 2023) there will be changes to alcohol duty in the UK as per the Spring Budget announcement made in March 2023. While draught products will receive additional support, other alcohol products will experience an increase in duty based on inflation. Wine being the highest rise.
Undoubtedly, these changes will present challenges to the hospitality secor.

Please be aware that our prices may rise over the coming months to keep in line with the increases/Duty.

I always try and keep our prices reasonable but in some cases like this my hands are tied, please also be polite to staff with this as they have a job to do and have no control over the prices
