and are so excited to introduce you all to Drew. He is a local boy, and a member of the prestigious Chris Ewing Karate club.

Drew has been selected to represent Scotland at the European federation Wadokai championships in Cyprus on the 26th October and we are proud to be sponsoring him and his journey over the next year. We wish him all the luck in the world and can’t wait to hear all about his experience!

We are so excited to share our maker of the month! is a contemporary designer living and working from her home studio in Scotland. She creates handmade silver and resin jewellery, developing a mixture of collections and one of a kind pieces. All inspired from a love of buildings, bicycles, lines and colour.

We are so excited to share our Crumbs of Portobello maker of the month ☀️

was born out of a love of an eclectic selection of passions; type design, colour and the Scottish language. Inspired by sayings that Isla’s mother & grandmother used to say, she started creating colourful greeting cards and art prints of inspirational Scottish quotes, beautifully set in contemporary type- focusing on the beautiful and positive.

The Wild Swimming collection is our favourite which includes Prints, Cards & Mugs- a perfect match if you enjoy a dip in our cold waters 🌊

The next market will take place on the 4th August in ❤️

Every month are host to around 40 makers here in the heart of portobello in partnership with .

As we said before, In order to support and bring awareness to this fantastic community event, we will be featuring one of the makers every month and highlighting their work here on our page.

Portobello based, Nic specialises in bringing botanical beauty to life through embroidery and illustrations. With a needle in hand, and a love for all things green and leafy, she stitches and sketches her way through the wonderful world of botanical art. That the Portobello Toddler Hut is the OLDEST community run, self-funded childcare facility in the WHOLE of the UK????

Pretty mindblowing… with that in mind, they are holding a children’s pre-loved clothing sale in their garden to raise some vital funds this coming Saturday 8th June.

Time: 1-4pm
Location: Toddler Hut, 28 Beach Lane
Entry: £5 for 3 items, £1 per item after that…
