Panzanella makes a perfect light lunch and is one of our favourite ways of using our award-winning Covenanters’ Sourdough bread.

NEW: Cocoa Caraway Dark Rye bloomer ⭐️
Find this brand new beauty in our shops and market stalls every Friday, Saturday and Sunday - a twist on the Black Breads you may have seen elsewhere, many of which are standard white bloomers with some colouring from caramel, instant coffee or cocoa powder.
We decided to make the cocoa a real feature - we make a tea with caraway seeds to infuse the flavour subtly throughout the bread. Then we add a good dollop of our dark rye sour, cocoa powder and treacle to give a good dark colouring and a really rich, long-lasting flavour.
It’s perfect for a classic Reuben sandwich with sauerkraut and pastrami, and we loved it with smoked mackerel, cornichons, crème fraiche and horseradish. Pick up a loaf this weekend and let us know what you think!
