Do you remember ages ago I said that me and my good pal Jamie O had been short listed then nominated for a prestigious award? Well we only bloody won it! Absolutely delighted to be awarded ‘Best Presenter’ for our BBC 2 doc ‘Blind ambition’. I’ve never won anything before in my life! Also got to go to a glitzy award ceremony. Have to admit to the hubris of feeling pretty bloody good! x

Many confuse Mexican Independence Day with Cinco de Mayo but the country's actual independence day is Sept. 16. Celebrations in Mexico and the U.S. traditionally start on Sept. 15 with ‘El Grito’ and carry on into the 16th.
We are open from 4pm today and opening for lunch (12-2) and dinner (6-9.30) on Saturday.

The restaurant is closed today for a well deserved break but
will be open Tuesday 28th from 6pm, Wednesday 29th from 6pm,Thursday 30th 12-2, 6-9.30 and on Hogmanay from 12 till 8.30 pm. 🍾🥂
Business resumes as normal from the evening of the 4th.

Floor staff needed for family run Mexican restaurant in the heart of the Old town.
Must have experience in working in a busy but friendly catering environment, serving regular customers and tourists.
The restaurant is currently open Tuesday to Saturdays but hours will be extending. Must be able to work weekends and have a work visa. Pay depends on age and experience.
