Forget Elf on a Shelf… we have a new whisky on ours!

Oban Distillery was founded back in 1794 by two brothers, John and Hugh Stevenson. Once advertised as “The finest sma’ still whisky in the Highlands”, cautious care is taken to ensure the rest the whisky needs is put in place to maintain its spirits famous light, fruity and spicy flavour personality.

The Oban Distillers Edition is released annually, but in limited quantities. So take the chance while you can while it’s on The Royal Oak’s shelves!

Come and enjoy the music, and have a dram wi us to warm your bones through this miserable weather 🥃🔥

Hiya folks. Ever heard of a Whisky Mac? No? Well, prepare to be educated. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🥃

A Whisky Mac (christened The Whisky MacDonald) is a cocktail made up of whisky and ginger wine. Named after a 19 century soldier, Colonel Hector MacDonald - who was also known as ‘Fighting Mac’, it is intended to batter the coldness in your bones after a chilly escapade.

Here at Whisky Mac’s are very popular, so why not up your game and try the cocktail with a delicious blended malt. Or, for a milder option, try it with a refreshing can of juice. Anything goes here, with summer drawing to a close and autumn on the way this is the perfect spicy flavoursome autumnal beverage. 🍂🍁
