We have visitors from Public Health NHS Lothian Screening and Early Detection team. They will be talking to us about the various health screening programmes available to us here in Scotland and how important early detection is for our overall health

Our Open Arms project is organising this event, in partnership with Fringe in the communities Edinburgh Festival Fringe , Theiya Arts , and Granton Goes Greener for women in Edinburgh. In this workshop, we’ll be exploring artistic creativity, supporting each other to have fun and uncover artistic expression, and developing new ways to communicate in a creative way, as well as sharing these new experiences within a fun and safe learning environment.

We have our Women's Crafting Workshop on this morning from 9.30 until 11.30. All women living in the area are very welcome to come in and join us. You are welcome to bring your children too. Claire from Granton Community Gardeners will be along at 10.30 with acitivites for Stay & Play.

Are you concerned about your energy use and fuel bills? We think almost everyone in the community will be right now. Our good friends over at Royston Wardieburn Community Centre have invited Changeworks to come along and run a session on energy use and costs, support available and answer questions we might have.

This group suits any mums who are breastfeeding and have any questions or experiences they'd like to share. It also suits any mums-to-be who have questions or are thinking about breastfeeding. Knit & Natter is on today at Royston Wardieburn Community Centre from 1pm until 3pm. Brenda will be there with yarn, needles, hooks, tea & coffee, and lots of chat. We are a lovely welcoming bunch of women and would love to welcome more into the group. Come along and share skills or learn some stitches... or just have a hot drink and a chat.

Knit & Natter is on tomorrow, Monday at Royston Wardieburn Community Centre at 1pm. Brenda is looking forward to welcoming all the women, making a warm brew, sharing skills and getting a natter. A few new women have been coming along which has been lovely. Just drop in if you fancy it.
