What a brilliant season it has been!

Fantastic action and many battles throughout all of the classes this year. Every entry was very much appreciated and helps to keep Woodside open for another year. There would be no competition or winners without all of you and we are thankful for that.

There are no words to express how amazing you guys are. Garry and his team have again been top class and professional throughout this year. Its reassuring having you guys with us 🏥

THE MAN ON THE TOOLS
Thanks to the man himself, Den Irvine, providing us with spares and repairs for another season. The riders have certainly kept him busy this year.

KEEPING US FED AND WATERED
Last but not by any means least a big shout out to Little Kitchen outside catering for another year of top quality grub 🍔🍟

CLUB COMMITTEE
Theres a few people who we would like to pay a special thanks to.
Peter made an announcement in May that he was standing down as chairman. We would as a club like to thank him for his time and dedication over the years and for getting the club to where it is today. Peter handed the reigns over to Krisy Coull who has done a fab job at seeing out the season while also racing. We are sure he will continue to run the club to a high standard and help it grow along the way.
More recently our secretary Lisa who has also dedicated alot of time to Grampian over the years stood down from her position in July. We would like to thank her for all she has done alot of which was behind the scenes and often missing out on watching her own race to keep the race meets going. We wish her well in the future, im sure she will be back enjoying the sport as a spectator.
Last but by no means least we would like to thank Lynne for her time dedicated to being club treasurer.

Positions will be up for discussion at our AGM in February which we would encourage you all to come to as this is YOUR club and your ideas and views are important for us to get it right ✅️

The weather certainly didn't disappoint 🌞

Every single person involved in today made it an absolute cracking end to the season. Especially the marshalls who made our life in the cabin very easy today 🏁

⚠️ We have been keeping a wee eye on met office and it looks like we are going to be in for a treat and experience a little bit of summer this weekend ☀️ so we have decided since we dont see much of that big round thing in the sky that we will get the slip and slide out on Saturday evening for the kids to have some fun (big kids included) So remember your shorts n tshirts ⚠️

Transponders will be required for lap timing. We have a limited number of transponders available to hire on a first come first served basis. These are an additional cost of £20 It is your responsibility to ensure transponders are charged and working correctly, No transponder = No points

We would like to apologise for the confusion caused by the changing of dates and making the last round the doubleheader.

We would just like to clarify that the race originally scheduled for this weekend is cancelled, meaning we drop a round and our final round of our 2024 Championship will go ahead as planned on Sunday 1st September

SUNDAY MARSHALS!

Call for any willing Sunday marshals. We had a number of no-shows today, which we would really like to avoid tomorrow.

Could anyone who wishes to help the championship out by marshalling tomorrow, please get in touch with us through PM. 🙏

This is paid work with meals provided. All marshals will receive two extra viewing bands for friends or family. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This will be the last practise day for a while as we have the Scottish championship arriving early for work on the track.

Just want to say thank you to all who came and made the weekend a good one.

To the cabin crew who smashed it all weekend
Big thanks to Neil wright for amazing food.
The Clarks of course for keeping everything running smooth.
The whole track crew who got the place looking brilliant and setting everything up .
Good to see a good pit bike entry and give all the spectators a laugh.
And to all riders who came and rode a ruff technical track.

🌟 Autos make your way to the Start Line to commence our 2 lap practice

🌟 Please go out with your own class on practice so we can ensure all transponders are working correctly 😀

🏁 another remider that all riders must provide a marshal with the exception of Autos. We appreciate it can sometimes be difficult but without our marshals the racing cant happen. We will try our very best to accommodate all requests for specific boxes / blocks etc

🚫 All the guys and girls who are on hand making our day possible are volunteers and do a fantastic job, please respect them.
Any form of physical or verbal aggression at our track will not be tolerated and will consequently end in an immediate ban for those involved 🚫

🚩We have the awsome trio Rae Cameron, David Coupland and Campbell Reith Clerking the course over both days 🚩 we dont want to see any red flags from these guys so please adhere to all club rules.

🍔 As always the snack van will be on site cooking up some delicious food throughout saturday and sunday.

🏥 Garry Grassick and his team will be with us providing top class medical care!

🏍 Dennis Irvine on hand with spares and to fix any bike problems.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Spectators are welcome.

🚘 Please park sensibly and do not block entrances incase emergency access is needed. Please also be considerate to our neighbours when entering/exiting the track.

👷👷‍♀️ Safety is paramount - can auto and 65 parents please ensure you are wearing a Hi Vis when assisting on the track.

🤸‍♀️🤸‍♂️ Children are not permitted on the track at any time.

Let’s get these entry’s in nice and early and make this an awesome weekend.

We will have the awesome slip and slide set up and weather is looking on our side. Perfect way to cool down after a days racing 🏁

We also have a hog roast for the Saturday night food. 🐷

Alcohol and refreshments will be supplied 🍺

Goody bags will be made up for the kids

we have an ice cream van also arriving so bring plenty cash 🍦

We also have the grand finale the pit bike race.
£70 to the adult winner. £50 to the youth winner.

With a lot of talk we have managed to secure our current champion pit bike star Kieran Hunter. Who absolute kills it ever year.
