How long to see results? ⬇️
Unrealistic expectations can hold you back! Being unrealistic about the process and how long it will take ends in disappointment and often, people give up
So, how long should it take to see some results?
In the first 1-4 weeks you will see the first and probably most drastic changes in body weight (make sure you weigh the same time every time. Preferably the morning before breakfast) ☕️
In weeks 4-10 you can expect to see some changes in your measurements. Some areas will shrink faster then others! 📏
In weeks 6-12 you will see a noticeable change in the mirror. You may see this almost all the way along but here is where you will really see a big difference. Tip: make sure you are in the same lighting and same clothing 🪞
The worst thing you can do is expect it all in 4 weeks and then give up when you don't achieve it

1️⃣ Your 'real life' is waiting for you! This is the total of all of your experiences, not just ones you're comfortable with
2️⃣ You can only find out what you're made of if you challenge yourself and step out of that comfort zone
3️⃣ Risks are growth experiences. Failure is ok....after all you learn from every experience
4️⃣ If you don't step outside of your comfort zone you risk settling for mediocre. Every time you try something new you are learning
5️⃣ It helps you to make change. A fulfilling life often comes from change

Foods to avoid if you want to lose weight

Truth is, this is NOT how it works ❌
It is not necessary to avoid or eliminate any foods to lose weight ❌
So, what do you need to do?
➡️ Achieve a calorie deficit (burn more calories than you consume)
➡️ Eat enough protein (to help your body repair cells and make new ones)
➡️ Eat fruit & veggies (can lower blood pressure, reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke, prevent some types of cancer, lower risk of eye and digestive problems, and positively impact blood sugar, which can help keep appetite in check)
Do this MOST of the time, and you can still enjoy the fun foods and lifestyle you love ❤️

They're a great way to see your progress in numbers
But they can impact people negatively
So it's important to stop and consider whether its helping or hindering your journey ⬇️
If it's negative...there are plenty of other things you can look out for:
✅ Progress photos
✅ Body measurements
✅ How you look in the mirror
✅ Your clothes
✅ Your energy levels

Stop overcomplicating it 🥲
✅ Find a nutritious diet that is healthy but also balanced with foods you enjoy
✅ PT led classes 3 times a week + daily steps or low-intensity exercise
❌ No cutting out food groups
❌ No 2 hour runs every day
Of course, it is far easier said than done...but we can't stress enough that the best way to do this is to start simple

Here's Joe's top tips on how to make fitness easier ⬇️
1️⃣ Do your sessions earlier in the day
-This way you have far less time to make excuses!
2️⃣ Limit the tempting foods in your house
-If its not there, you can't eat it!
3️⃣ Make healthier options convenient
-Frozen veggies and frozen healthy meals are a thing now!!
4️⃣ Start slow
-Changing up your entire lifestyle all at once can be difficult, exercise 1-2 times a week and go from there
