These are OUTSTANDING results and a real testament to the hard work and practise the children put in.

What a FANTASTIC end to the week!
We are so happy and proud to tell you all that Lisa qualified for the prestigious Phyllis Haylor Scholarship which is awarded to teachers who gain an Honours grade in any Associate teaching qualification with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing.

After her nomination Lisa found out she had been shortlisted and then this week she was interviewed by a board of senior leaders at the ISTD.

As her specialist subject Lisa chose to talk about the importance of Inclusion in Dance which is something she is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about.

This afternoon she found out that she had won the Scholarship and as a team, and more importantly, her close friends we are so incredibly proud of her and hope you will join us in congratulating her.

Well done Lisa! You are amazing ❤️

What we hope for every single day is that we bring feelings of happiness in a safe and loving environment.
Lisa, Sarah & Isla have obviously got this right for at least one little girl 💕 and hopefully her feelings are similar to all the other children in our classes 💕

We are so excited to have Professional Scooter Rider, Terry Price with us at our Holiday Camps this Summer! Every year we strive to find new experiences for the children to enjoy and having previously seen this awesome guy in action we know this is going to be an epic event!

Today the children learnt new skills in a Street Dance Workshop, enjoyed Drama Games and had brilliant fun with Pom Pom the Magic Fox!

We had the BEST DAY EVER at Forest School with Emma Holland today!
What a great addition to our Holiday Camp. So lovely to see the children outside, building friendships, independent learning and broadening their creativity.

This will definitely become a firm favourite at our future Holiday Camps!!

A week late to post this but last Monday my GCSE cohort at Sawston Village College completed their practical moderation performances. What a lovely bunch of talented, creative, hard working students - such a pleasure to teach.
Today they surprised me with a little birthday gift - it’s the small, unexpected gestures that bring happiness.

What a truly lovely week of teaching! All of our children have really been their ‘best selves’ this week. A particular 🙌 to all those working towards their Drama exams in March. Such a lot of enthusiasm and effort seen in all our classes and I have loved giving out lots of praise ‘sparkle’ cards!

Brilliant Acro class today learning two new skills; Elbow Bridges and Chest Rolls.

In lessons we focus on the importance of listening carefully to learn the technique of each skill and then how important perseverance is, week on week.

When the children implement both of these things and thrn master a new skill it is so lovely to see how proud they are of themselves! 🙌

Wow 5 parents displays this afternoon at the Lantern and Isle of Ely Primary Schools.
A huge turnout in all five audiences - all showing such fantastic support for the children.
Our school ethos is that every single child should have access to Dance and Drama. We strongly believe these subjects build life skills and enhance children’s self belief and feeling of well being.
It was so lovely watch them all perform today.
As always, Sarah and I would like to thank our amazing teaching team for inspiring and nurturing our pupils each and every day ❤️
