It's FRIDAY. The Social Mini Mart is OPEN today from 10am - 11am. There's lots of Roast Beef and Chicken available, plus veggies. Lots of Bakery this week. Just 5 items for £2.50.

CALLING ALL COMMUNITY GROUPS AND CHARITIES!!! 💚💚💚

The funding and power imbalances within the charity sector leave quality smaller charities and community groups with a proven track record of impact, without consistent access to funding that would enable them to turbo-charge their impact, and without the recognition of their impact which would allow their work to be better supported and recognised. At Re-imagine we feel this everyday but this can only be done by addressing the power and funding prevalent imbalances in the sector.

We are lucky enough to work with fantastic charities, organisations and community groups and learn about the impressive impact they have on their communities. We know local charities are in a difficult position, and grassroots charities are increasingly picking up where other services fail, but no funding or support is attached to this assumption.

Grassroots organisations are perfectly placed to shape much needed change, due to their knowledge of local communities, and crucially their insights into what needs to change and how change can be carried out. There’s so many dedicated and community minded people in Cambridgeshire who everyday make a huge difference in the lives of the people they reach. ❤️

We want to play our part in supporting our members and want to help any local groups or charities as much as we can - so we invite those folks to “PAY WHAT YOU CAN DAY” on Wednesday September 18th 2024. 10am - 2pm. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on fabric, paper, paints, stickers. There is even massive cord carpets, large wooden dividing walls, mannequins and the HUGE wallpaper rolls up for offers.

Your group, charity or organisation must be a member of Re-imagine.

Absolutely eco-fabulous at Ely Cathedral today! Thanks for the invite. All around us we bare witness to a world in chaos and want to show our support to decrease violence and strengthen the ideals of peace and justice for all. We know environmental cooperation can be one of the places where hostile parties can sustain a dialogue, and sustainable development is a prerequisite for a sustainable peace. 🤍

Join us on Saturday 27th July 2024 from 10am on Ely Cathedral Green, make a day of it as there is so many amazing Green Stalls and Vendors, plus a Repair Cafe from 11am - 2pm, and even more eco-fabulous 's Swish Event.

With the numbers attending the Social Mini-Mart increasing, we need to have a big move around to put in another aisle of more products and so folks can safely queue.
