Sunday Love feast programme was somewhat different yesterday!

Why ?

Because it was fully managed by a number of enthusiastic devotees!

Nimmi Mataji and her 3 young kids- came to the temple around 1pm and single handedly cooked the Sunday Feast for all the guests.
Not only did she cook all the Prasadm but she also cleaned all the pots and pans on her own!!

Anil Prabhu, Puja Mataji and Jai - led the Kirtan and Bhagavad Gita discussion with so much energy, served Prasadm and helped to clean the temple

Jenani Mataji- helped to serve Prasadm and clean the temple

Drupud Prabhu- helped to serve Prasadm and clean the temple

Tamilarasi Mataji- specifically came to the programme just so that she could clean everything at the end including the deity kitchen

As you can see it takes a number of people to make these programmes run smoothly.
And we are always in need of more volunteers.
Even if you can’t make it for the whole programme, join us according to your suitable time.

If anyone wants to help out please do let me know, as serving Krishna and his devotees is not just a service but also a privilege!

The Puranas state the month of Kartik as the topmost in the calendar. Lord Krishna’s mercy is very easily accessible to everyone.

In this month Lord Damodar is worshiped by offering a ghee lamp every day. It is said that by offering a lamp to Lord Hari in the month of Kartika one gets unlimited prosperity, beauty and wealth. All the sins committed in thousands and millions of births perish; and one attains the eternal spiritual world where there is no suffering!
