The Jay C Trust
We are a group of family and friends who have had the unfortunate experience of losing someone we love
Our very own Krish took to the skies today at 13,000 feet where he took part in a tandem skydive centre in Brackley. No other than his very own big brother and Trustee of The Jay C Trust Rahul, was there to support him and to present him with a medal for his great achievement! Between the both of them, they have raised an amazing £910 for . We are very proud of both the boys for their bravery and determination in continuing to help others and in keeping their dad’s legacy alive!💜💜
We are on Stoneleigh Broadway today outside Derby’s Newsagent. If you or anybody you know is suffering from a Glioblastoma brain tumour, then we can help. Please come and say hello or visit our website www.thejayctrust.com for more information.
Six years ago this week, our lives changed forever. On 23rd July 2018, Jay was sat in A&E following an MRI scan and was told that he had a ‘mass’ on his brain. We were to find out 3 weeks later, that the ‘mass’ was a Glioblastoma (GBM). We had never heard of this type of brain tumour before and neither had anyone we spoke to. After the consultation with the doctors and our own research, we were devastated to learn how poor the prognosis would be following Jay’s diagnosis. What followed the next 14 months was unimaginable. Like so many families going through this, we endured immense heartbreak, stress and turmoil. Following our beloved Jays passing in October 2019, we set up The Jay C Trust in his memory to support others by raising awareness and offering financial grants to individuals and their families, in the knowledge that we can make a small difference. Grants are offered in the areas of Greater London and the West Midlands, and we take great comfort in knowing that we have been able to support many families over the last few years. Please visit our social media pages or website for more information. Glioblastomas are the most aggressive and most commonly diagnosed, high grade tumours in adults, with around 3,500 people receiving this diagnosis in the UK every year. THERE IS NO CURE. Only 25% of people diagnosed with GBM survive more than one year and just 5% live for more than 5 years and less than 1% more than 10 years. We know that because of us and what we do, many more people are now aware of this cruel and unforgiving illness. During this , we would like to take this opportunity to thank our donors and volunteers for their endless support and for helping us to raise awareness of this most aggressive and devastating of brain tumours.
A father’s love starts the second you are born.
It doesn’t sleep, it never rests, it won’t take a break…it’s relentless and unwavering. A father’s love is for this day, everyday and forever. For all Dads past and present ‘Happy Father’s Day’. 💜
Following last year’s storyline on , where Lola, (played by Danielle Harold), died from a Glioblastoma brain tumour, tonight’s episode at 7.30pm continues that story as two of the actors in character, Emma Barton and Jamie Borthwick actually ran in yesterday’s London Marathon in Lola’s memory. They were filmed live and the show will be televised tonight…something that has never been done before in soap history! It’s clear that this tragic storyline has had a huge impact on everyone! Well done to both and to everyone involved in raising awareness of this terrible disease and especially to for making this possible 💜 Photo property of RTE

World Cancer Day is about raising awareness of all cancers. In the UK nearly 1 in 2 of us will get cancer in our lifetime. Here at The Jay C Trust we would like to make you aware that brain tumours are on the increase, while funding for research, treatment and a cure remains poor. Cancer - the impact is real. Let’s make a difference together 💜 . If you would like to make a donation or get involved, then please visit our website: www.thejayctrust.com

Today marks the beginning of International Brain Tumour Awareness Week. We at the Jay C Trust support those who have been diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumour. If you would like to support us, please visit our linktree or website for more information on ways to support us.
Brain tumours kill more children and people under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Yet only 1% of all funding into cancer research goes into brain tumours. Please visit and sign the petition to call on the Government to invest more money into this devastating disease. Let's take a stand against cancer...let's show our love!❤️
For those who were fortunate enough to know him, Jay was a one of a kind and continues to inspire us through his words of wisdom...his infectious smile...his absolute conviction and unconditional love for his family and friends. Someone like Jay is never forgotten but lives on in others. Today we miss him and remember him as we do everyday but we also feel lucky to have known him, to have had him in our lives and to have had the love that he showed us all. Jay...no words can ever express the void you have left in our lives and hearts. We miss you but know you are always with us💜💜💜
Wow just wow! A huge congratulations to and on completing their '3
Marathons in 3 days' challenge in this blazing heat!! What an incredible achievement for the two amazingingly determined and resilient young men whose determination and courage did not waiver in the slighest during these three days! Between them they have raised an amazing £2,070 surpassing their target of £2,000, which means they will be helping many families in need at a very difficult time! We are so proud of them both and know that Jay too will be smiling down on them and bursting with so much pride! 💜💜

Our annual climb of remembrance of the Welsh mountain Y-Garn took on extra significance this year as it would have been Jay's 60th birthday. As with every passing year we welcomed some new faces who climbed their very first mountain, something Jay would have taken great delight in. The weather was not looking good with rain forecast midday so were all prepared to get just a little wet! However we had glorious sunshine with no rain in sight and another 'Jay day' with spectacular views for everyone to enjoy. We shared the fond memories along with the laughter and tears as we remembered the man we all loved so dearly and whom we hold close in our hearts and in our minds❤️.
Happy 60th Birthday Jayesh❤️. Everyday is hard without you here but days like today are harder still. We love you and miss you so much! Our inspiration in all that we do and forever our hero❤️.
Once again a huge thank you to everyone who supported us at our annual Dinner & Dance this year! We raised an incredible £10,451 in total! We could not do this without the help of our amazing friends and family and all our loyal supporters. Most of all this would not have happened without the amazing Arvin Chauhan THANK YOU again for your comittment, passion and drive in everything you do for us!! 💜💜💜

So many amazing people, so many incredible stories of love, loss, heartbreak, strength and bravery from across the globe at The 5th Bienniel World Summit of Brain Tumour Patient Advocates in Vienna 2023. So privileged and honoured to have been a part of this. Thank you Kathy Oliver for giving us this extraordinary opportunity and for introducing us to such wonderful people!
This week is GBM Awareness Week. Please stand with us in helping to raise awareness of this devastating disease. We will be on Epsom High Street Market Place on Saturday 22nd July between 10am and 4pm sporting our very own designed pins! For a small donation one of these could be yours💜. DM us and we will post one out to you. Alternatively if you are local please come and show your support on Saturday...we look forward to seeing you! We are a Not For Profit registered charity completely run by volunteers.
Losing someone you love to a Brain Tumour is heartbreaking. GBM is the most aggressive and common type of brain tumour in children and in adults under the age of 40. Symptoms include memory loss, confusion, seizures, headaches, changes to personality and many more depending on where the tumour is located. Sadly there is no cure and the prognosis is poor.
No one should have to go through this alone. The Jay C Trust is here to support patients and their families by providing grants at a very difficult time. Please help us help others and share this post. If you know anybody who has been diagnosed and lives in the Surrey or Birmingham area then we can help. If you would you like to make a donation then please visit our website www.thejayctrust.com 💜

Superheroes come in all shapes and sizes, but a true Superhero does not wear a cape or leap from skyscrapers. A true Superhero will take your hand and heart and walk your life's journey, never leaving your side. He will nuture, he will listen, he will comfort, guide and protect. He will love you always 💜.
Wishing all the Fathers out there a 'Happy Fathers Day'. For those who have lost, today will be hard but remember your Superhero never leaves you...💜.
The evening of Saturday 13th May saw our second Dinner & Dance fundraising event. Our hosts Samsons Banqueting Suite in Birmingham provided the perfect venue which helped welcome our 200 guests.
