I packed my son off to his home we group today with some Hug In a Mug soup. A nice nutritious post group snack for him to have on his way home. Have you tried this one?
Perfect evening for a risotto. This was a new one to us; bacon and cabbage. Which is your favourite risotto?
There’s defo been a change in the weather as we approach Autumn but I find it easier to get veg into the kids. Courgette soup this lunch time went down well.
We are away visiting family at the mo and given that we were taking the car decided to bring the Thermomix too.
Tonight we joined my sister and family and had our own little Master Chef evening with the boys going head to head. They were both winners as everyone loved both macaroni cheeses and couldn’t decide on a winner.
Which is your favourite macaroni cheese on Cookidoo? We cooked both the chorizo and red pepper one and the butternut squash and bacon one.
I’m so bad at remembering to share what we are eating. I take photos, intend to share them once I have put my toddler to bed and then forget. Anyway, today we had chicken chia burgers. Boys were fans, me not so much (but I’m getting weird about eating meat again so maybe the thought of it rather than the recipe itself)

If you like creamy Chicken and Sundried Tomato pasta you will LOVE this! It’s an all in one recipe and so easy.

9 year old made dinner this evening. I’ve always thought macaroni cheese was massively overrated but this was tasty and I enjoyed the butternut squash and bacon additions. Will definitely have this one again.
A lovely demo in East Devon this evening. I have a feeling this teen is going to be doing lots of cooking when his mum’s Thermomix arrives. He made both the salad and the sorbet and was a total pro.
Well, that was as always, a lot of fun. Lovely to have the team together, to introduce the Thermomix to lots of new people and to share the love with lots of existing owners. Looking forward to our cooking class next month.
What a lovely day to be spending at Greendale Farm Shop with Thermomix. Pop in and say hi if you are around and would like to find out more about Thermomix and how it can save you time and money. Cars and Cuppas on too if you don’t have plans for Fathers’ Day.
“The Thermomix scored an impressive 10/10 for almost every cooking, baking and chopping challenge it encountered. And trust us, scoring full marks in one of our tests is no easy feat.
It blitzed breadcrumbs with finesse in seven seconds. It turned nuts into a uniform, coarse powder in under ten seconds. It created the kind of mayonnaise that will give Hellman’s a run for its money. Time and time again, it provided quick, expert results with minimal fuss.”

This is the big win for me. We do all eat a more varied and interesting repertoire of meals, the mental load of having to think about what to eat and cook the kids EVERY SINGLE DAY has been removed but the big winner is defo the time saving.
I’d estimate that I easily save a least an hour a day and with the current offer that’s £1 a day; an extra hour in my day is defo worth £1. What would you do with an extra hour? Play with the kid, support them with their homework, do a workout, go for a walk, sort the washing, do some gardening, just sit and relax?
My 9 year old is making Korean fried chicken tonight. I’m loving the fact he is making it so we get a night off (both kids sort tea one night a week) but also the fact that I know we won’t have 75,000 dishes to sort (he’s not the best at that part) just one bowl to either shove in the dishwasher or put on self clean mode.
Free additional bowl and 0 per cent interest free has been extended until the 17th of June. Give me a shout if you’d like a demo or to ask any questions. To anyone local I am at Greendale Farm Shop Sunday morning if you’d like to pop in and say hi.

My 9 year old has made soup (pea and mint or red pepper and tomato) for lunch at least weekly since we’ve had our Thermomix. He loves them and it’s always lovely to have tasty and nutritious lunch made for us. He’s been ill and in bed all week so we went off piste and tried something new. This time the two year old was keen to have a go, he put everything in the Thermomix and pressed next. He was mindblow that it magically turned into soup and so proud that he’d made his own soup “all by my own.”
10/10 for the creamy courgette soup, would highly recommend. Two out of three of mine loved it which is always a win!
Which is your favourite soup?
