Firstly apologies if you came to Ullacombe for milk yesterday afternoon and went away disappointed...the milk pump decided yesterday was the day to give up 😥. All back up and running now and as requested we have brought back the ever popular and very summery....

We made it around the 7 mile Hospicecare Summer Walk yesterday and had a great time raising money for this much needed service as well as remembering how they helped our family through the toughest time last year.

We are preparing to join the Hospicecare Summer Walk this Saturday in memory of Ross' sister Kat who passed away last year at just 39 due to bowel cancer.

The whole family is going to take part and we're hoping to raise lots of money for this amazing charity that does so much to help patients and their families in the trickiest of times.

Wow what a day! Dunsford Show, organised completely by Dunsford Community Academy PTFA and this year marking the 150th anniversary of the School, was absolutely amazing!

We had a busy but wonderful day keeping everyone hydrated with Mount Boon Milkshakes, providing milk for the tea tent, selling some delicious Curworthy Cheese and meeting lots of local customers and hopefully tempting a few more to come and check us out. 🤞😊🥛🐄

For anyone new here...we have 2 self service milk and milkshake vending machines selling fresh, free range pasteurised but non homogenised milk from our farm. One is at Mount Boon Farm Longdown, on the B3212 just outside Longdown towards Dunsford and the other at near Bovey Tracey. Do come and try a bottle...you won't be disappointed! 🥛🐄🥛🐄😊

Milk is back at Mount Boon Longdown. Sorry for the delay and inconvenience caused. We were silaging until after 11pm last night and coupled with a busier than usual day for milk sales I'm afraid the milk ran out last night.

Thankfully the first grass harvest was gathered in and we're almost awake today to crack on with the next jobs on the list as well as the normal daily routine starting with milking at 5am! 🥴🐄🥛🐄🥛😊

It's been a super busy day on the farm getting the silage in despite some tricky ground conditions! And we've not finished just yet. Typically it was also a busy day in the milk shed too ....milk has now SOLD OUT at Mount Boon Longdown. We'll be back with a fresh batch tomorrow morning at around 10am.
