Fabric Fantasie has been very quiet while moving house. Pleased to have started stitching again and delighted to have some things for sale at Sylvania Community Store and Cafe - a short stroll from my new home and a fabulous community hub. Added bonus is great coffee and cake π. Also been updating my website - long overdue! www.fabricfantasie.co.uk
New cards and Pictures also available from:

'Untamed' . So glad this moody seascape, commissioned as a gift arrived safely in Alabama, and was met with appreciation! Enjoyed working with this colour palette - now available as a printed blank card directly from Fabric Fantasie or through Etsy.
Excited to share the latest addition to my shop: Christmas Card bundle featuring three designs: Christmas Tree, Star of Wonder and Candle of Hope. https://etsy.me/3NxBpQs
Fabric Fantasie will be there with this year's Christmas card designs, plus usual cards, unique art and gifts. Come and see - and maybe see the sea too!π
Getting ready...Autumn Fair Mon.3rd/Tues 4th October. Lovely venue and all round exciting π

Slow stitched, and featuring geometric shapes, this really isn't my usual. And maybe just a teeny-weeny hint of Kandinsky from somewhere? All part of the fun of creating π
Check it out - Fabric Fantasie's website is live! https://www.fabricfantasie.co.uk/
Nice little edit this morning. Almost sent this top to charity - too long for me with fringe. But time for some snipping..βοΈβοΈβοΈResult - a top to wear and some lovely lacy stuff I can play with. βοΈπͺ‘π
Love using 're-fabrication' to make these colourful cards from scraps and snippings. Very satisfying, plus cards and envelopes also from recycled paper. It's not much, but I'm committed to doing what I can. Available from Etsy shop link in bio, or by DM.
Inspired by the banks of the Teign Valley where I walked with Poppy last week - I love it there and it actually 'feels' green! Image is 6x6 ins in 12x12 frame and will find its way to Etsy shop at some point, but DM if interested. Think I want to try other variations on this theme - cooling in all this heat.
Looking forward to my first market for a while with a great variety of stallholders and beautiful things. I'll have some different items, including the results of playing this week with my new toy! If in Exeter then come along and spread the word. Exeter needs this!
Think I should be called Eclectic Elaine - often changing what I'm up to depending on mood, fancy and sometimes simply distraction. This week - little hand stitched brooches which have suited a need for something simple (not too much thinking) but pretty. More on the way. They'll find their way to the tomorrow and Exeter indoor Market on April 30th. I like variety!
Happy to announce that FabricFantasieArt on Etsy is open again! I planned a short break to manage stock, but it's taken rather longer as I've had covid βΉοΈ All is now well and I'm looking forward to welcoming customers back π.
In these dark and ugly times colour immersion feels like a bouy keeping me afloat. Thank you .art for getting me started with a paintbrush! Once completed I hope these cards can be used to support Ukraine. Somehow. π€¨π
Fabric Fantasie is now at Exeter Craft Hub π I'm pleased items will be seen 'in the flesh', it's hard to capture texture, colour...and sometimes shimmer online! If you're in Exeter do visit: wide-ranging local crafts perfect for original gifts.
FabricFantasieArt on Etsy is taking a break to manage stock, but hope to reopen in a couple of weeks.
I'm calling these my 'Doodle Cards' and really enjoyed allowing the randomness of yarn and stitch to create colourful patterns on felt backing. Each will be unique - just like you and me!
