Thank you first of all for all the orders we received in the past month. We haven't managed to find someone that wants to take over the brewery, so we will have to close down the brewery permanently. This is also a final call for anyone that might be interested or know someone that is interested into taking it on. There are a lot of options in terms of help from us in handover. Beer Lovers - We have bad news, and some good news…

Let’s get the bad news out of the way first… The Exe Valley Brewery team is sad to announce that we will no longer be brewing beer, and will likely be winding up the brewery in the next month.

Despite enormous effort from everyone on the team, the reality of the current economic situation for our customers and the hospitality industry has made it impossible for us to operate profitably.

We are obviously devastated, and have explored all the options, and done everything we can to make it work but with so much uncertainty, it has been impossible to find a long-term solution.

It is heart-breaking, and we feel like not only have we let ourselves down but all our wonderful friends, family and supporters who have enabled us to do this mad, crazy thing over the past year. We have been so grateful to the whole community and we are so sorry we couldn’t do more.

Now, we promised you some good news and we are going to do what we do best for the next few weeks; provide you with delicious Exe Valley beer.

We still have some fantastic stock of bottled and fresh ale, and would love to sell as much of it as possible over the next few weeks.

New beer in house, we brewed this velvet Stout a few weeks ago and tasted it today. Light on the smoke flavour with a long finish of malt and a hint of chocolate and vanilla. If you love 5.5% dark malty stout than this will roll fresh into your house this Friday. The name we are in process of getting it qualified so that will need to wait for a few weeks, but in the meantime we can enjoy the liquid.

While we know it isn't Christmas just yet, this week we wanted to take a moment to hero our 12 Beer Days of Christmas box which is back this year. It was hugely popular last year, so we got a few extra in to make sure no one was disappointed!

🎅The 1st day of Christmas is technically 25th December, (counting down to Epiphany on 6th January) so it could be a fantastic gift for someone – however, it could also be a great treat in the run up too!

📦We’ve got special shipping boxes for them too, so they can be sent anywhere in mainland UK.
