North Devon Artist who paints the stunning locations in North Devon on an iPad using the same techniques as she's used for all her pet portraits, the only difference being they are drawn on a screen instead of a piece of paper.
Hello you, so it seems some more months sneaked past me without me posting anything so I thought I’d share a little peak at the drawing I’m working on at the moment because I actually love it so much. Looking into this one’s eyes everyday isn’t a chore at all. Hope you’re all keeping well and Happy New Year, even though I’m exactly a month late…Ooops!!
Hello all, I have two new art prints to share with you. The first, not a holiday destination but it is the gateway for many who come to visit and the second, well having been asked many times for it, I’ve finally made a start on the other side 🙂
I hope you like them :-)
A very Happy New Year Everyone. Apologies for being so quiet of late but I’ve been busy working in the background and hopefully I’ll have lots to share with you this year including this bit of very exciting news…
Myself and another wonderful local business Muddy Boots Devon are the VERY VERY proud sponsors of the U12s Bideford Blues Football Team BAAFC. They really are a great bunch of kids with such heart, determination and enthusiasm for the game, it really is an honour to be sponsoring them.
Today was their first game wearing their new kit and it was a very proud moment to be there to watch them play today :-)
So, my post yesterday… in my excitement to announce my products were in an actual shop. I forgot to mention one small detail, well actually one rather big detail…it’s NOT my shop!! The very lovely Christmas Shop is my friends shop and they have very kindly let me display all my prints and products until Christmas. I’d love to have my own shop but no, this isn’t my actual shop, my products are just in an actual shop! I recently did a YouTube video on the shop, and explained in there how it all came about but forgot that the majority of you don’t follow me on there so apologies for misleading you.
I am in the shop quite a bit though so do come by and say hello. It’s a very cosy, lovely Christmas Shop and well worth a visit as we get nearer to the big day 🙂🎄🎅
I know it’s only November but… ( just to point out, it’s not my shop).
Hello everyone, how are we… keeping very well I hope!!
I just wanted to say thank you to everyone that came and saw Me at my trailer again this year, even though the location had changed, it was lovely that you still took the time to find Me.
Unfortunately, the doors were shut quite often this year due to the brisk winds up there on the cliffs but on the good weather days, it was a lovely spot to be in.
I did also want to be honest with you all and say that I do have a bit of a love/hate relationship with social media… I love that I can use it to keep you all updated with what I’m up too but hate most other things about it ha! I hold my hands up and admit that I’m pretty useless at keeping you as updated as I should do but the fact is, I very rarely go on these platforms. I will make more of an effort BUT IN THE MEANTIME…
I have started a YouTube channel, no laughing please. The format is great for Me and although there is a huge amount that goes into every video, (it’s definitely not just a case of recording a video and uploading it I’ve discovered), I am really enjoying it. Admittedly, my first few videos are shocking whilst I’ve got used to talking to my phone, feeling completely ridiculous the whole time, but they are slowly getting better and so now I’m brave enough to share the news with you!
I’m not asking you to subscribe to the channel, although it would be fantastic if you did! I just wanted to let you know that the channel is there and if watching me paint my pictures or getting a glimpse into what goes on behind the scenes is something you would find interesting then please join Me there. For example, my latest video was of Me painting the Puffin in this post.
I’m hoping the Channel will be a bit of fun whilst also giving Me the opportunity to showcase my artwork more whilst the trailer doors are shut through the winter so I’ll leave a link to the channel in the comments below and maybe I’ll see some of you there but if not then don’t worry, I will be staying here too so you’ll still see and hear what I’m up too.
I hope you like my new Puffin, they are such popular little birds, I just had to paint another one!!
Ok, that’s all from Me for the moment. Have a great day and I’ll be back soon with more pictures to show you. Thank you,
Justine
Goodbye Your Majesty and Thank You
Well...the trailer was open and now it's shut again for today. Being up by the house this year has been lovely but it gets pretty gusty up there and my stuff blows all over the place. Today I've had framed pictures blow over and smash too so even though the sun is shining, unfortunately I've decided to shut the doors!
However, I do deliver locally for free so if you've seen anything you like please do get in touch and of course there is still my website as well so in that respect, I'm open as usual.
In the meantime, today is now a painting day :-)
Apparently it's international tiger day today so it seems fitting to place my tiger centre stage today 🐅
When I'm on the trailer, I'm always asked what I use to paint or draw with. When I painted my Cockerel, I recorded the process from start to finish so I thought I'd share this video, for those of you that are interested. The final painting was bought by a lovely lady in France but I've attached a print of the finished painting in the comments. 😀
And the doors have opened 😀
Excited to share my New Print with you, my first of Dorest. We spent a brilliant day in Weymouth last Summer, it's such a great place. If you've never been, it's worth the trip for a day out.
This print will be available on the trailer very soon and is already available on my website :-)
And I can't wait 😀
I'm so pleased to say that at Barnstaple Train Station are now selling my prints and coasters. It's the perfect combination being that the artwork is inspired by the vintage railway posters. The A3 prints look fantastic hung on the cafe walls. It's such a lovely cafe too with lots of delicious food on offer, definitely worth stopping for tea and cake, even if you haven't got a train to catch!
For all those that asked, prints of Saunton Sands Hotel are now available directly from the Hotel...how exciting!!
As promised, we now have some fantastic prints from Jagos Art available to purchase from our hotel.
Take a print of our 2022 Tariff front cover home with you. The freehand digital paintings by Jagos Art are created on a tablet and take over 80 hours to complete. They are A4 mounted and framed. £40 each.

I am so happy to finally reveal my next art print, it's one I've been wanting to do for such a long time and it's finally ready.
This house is much loved by so many, including Me. I used to peer over it's garden walls as a child with a sense of awe at both the immaculately kept gardens and the foreboding presence of the building itself, whilst always being a little nervous about who or what might be watching Me. After all, the question we all want to know is 'Is it haunted or is it not!!'
I hope I've done the house justice. I've tried to capture the house through the years with characteristics of the house as it once looked whilst also capturing it's more derelict state of today.
I've absolutely loved spending so much time studying and drawing this beautiful house and I'm so glad to be sharing it with you now.
Prints are available on my website :-)
A little behind the scenes time-lapse video of my next picture coming together...I think lots of you will know exactly where this is :-)
A very Happy New Year to you. To welcome in 2022 I'm offering a discount on my website, especially for you lovely lot, on all A4 and A3 Art Prints so feel free to pop over and have a look. Perfect timing for refreshing your walls for the new year don't you think ;-)
A very Happy Christmas to you all. I hope you have the best of days today :-)
I'm am so excited and proud to be sharing this post with you. I mentioned how something very exciting had happened in the Summer which I wasn't able to share with you at the time but now I can...it was this...My first big commission, from the lovely owners of Saunton Sands Hotel.
What a fantastic experience it was. I met the really lovely Brend family who were such a pleasure to work with, had my very own tour of the magnificent hotel, the views from which were jaw dropping, and I was trusted with designing the new front cover of next year's brochure. What an opportunity!
I can't tell you how proud I am feeling of myself right now and how much I'm loving the journey with JagosArt. This really has been a very special year, thank you everyone who has been a part of it :-)
I've been wanting to paint one of these for ages. I finally found the time last month and I love him. I find it hard parting with my paintings but he is now up for sale, alongside some of my other original paintings in Weymouth. Hopefully someone loves him as much as I do :-)
Whilst listening to the rain against the window, are you thinking of those long sunny summer days. On one such day, I decided it was time to cross the border and start a collection of location artwork of other stunning places our country has to offer, my first stop Cornwall. Having spent a lovely day here, I'm excited to share the first in this collection, the very charming village of Port Isaac. Prints will be available on my website very soon.
My new Bucks Mills Art Print is now available on my website and did you know, there is currently free shipping on all orders over £40 🎄🎅

Bucks Mills A4 Art Print - have the beauty of Bucks Mills in your home all year round - Jago's Art Bucks Mills A4 Location Art Print
I shouldn't really be sharing this with you as it's not even on my website yet but I just couldn't resist. Many locals asked if I would be adding Bucks Mills to my collection and seeing as it's one of my favourite places, how could I not!! So here's a little sneaky peak, I think this is my new favourite :-)
It will be available on my website very soon 😃
Well the season is now over for Me and the trailer, she's been towed home safe from the winter high tides, which will no doubt be arriving soon. What a wonderful Summer we had this year. I've met so many lovely people and so many returning visitors from last year. Thank you to everyone that came and said hello and to everyone that bought something. I think one of my many highlights this year were the number of children that asked questions about my art and wanted to go home and try it themselves choosing to spend their pocket money on my products to remind them of their holiday here. It really filled me with joy.
Thanks everyone and take care until I see you all again :-)
Something a little different from Me which I thought I'd share with you. I was sent a lovely photo of these two swans from a friend of mine, Carol, who said I could use it in my artwork and so I started thinking what I could paint and whether to go watercolour or digital. Given that the light gets poor pretty quickly now, I decided to go digital and this is what I painted. I'm really chuffed with it. It features Bidefords Iron bridge and the River Torridge and a hint of time gone by with the steam train making its way across the bridge. Normally I'm such a perfectionist and ever detail has to be right so it was nice to just let my imagination take over a little with this one. I think the fact that winter and Christmas is fast approaching may have influenced me a little don't you!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend. 😀

My Story
Hello there and welcome to my page. I'm thrilled you found me.
I am a self-taught artist who recently discovered her love of drawing and painting again. Having not drawn for many years, I decided to draw my friend's dog for a house warming present. I enjoyed doing it so much I haven't really stopped drawing since.
Having created many animal paintings for my own pleasure and many pet portrait commissions for friends, I decided to follow all my friends advice and offer my services as a pet portrait artist. My business Jagos Art was born in April 2017 and I’m so pleased to say it has grown from strength to strength ever since. Not only do I draw your beloved pets but I now also sell originals and prints of my wildlife art. I am thrilled to say that Jagos Art as crossed the pond with originals of my wildlife art now hanging in homes in France and Belgium. How exciting is that!!
So, if you have always wanted a portrait of your beloved pet them please feel free to browse through my page or even have a look at my website www.jagosart.co.uk where you will find plenty more information. All I will need from you is a clear, crisp image of your pet. If you can provide that, then I can take care of the rest. I will keep in contact with you throughout ensuring the portrait is as you expect.
If any of my wildlife art speaks to you, if you decide that the lovely vibrant colours will not only brighten up your home but will make a fantastic statement piece, or maybe just having it hanging in your house will give you a reason to smile everyday, then you can either get in touch with me directly, visit my Etsy shop, by pressing the shop now button on the main page, or by visiting my website at www.jagosart.co.uk.
You can contact me through my email address [email protected] or by sending a message via facebook whereby we can discuss your wishes, prices etc.
I hope you enjoy browsing through my pictures and I really look forward to hearing from you.
