What a wonderful weekend it has been!! Completely overjoyed to have been asked to provide the flowers for a very good friend’s daughter’s wedding!

Even more of a privilege for Graeme & I to be invited to the wedding.

Such a gorgeous colour palette given to me by the bride. It was such a beautiful wedding to make and I loved every minute of creating it all.

It was such a honour to be part of the celebrations of their special day, we had such an amazing time. On our way back home to Devon now from their beautiful venue Findon Place in West Sussex.

Very sad to hear the news that Lewtrenchard Manor has closed!!

I have such wonderful memories of dressing the hotel for a wedding last year.

Flowers down their fabulous wooden staircase and a ton of flowers in the ballroom for the wedding reception.

Hopefully their doors will open again in the future.

It's been a brilliant year and can't believe how quickly it has flown by.

Mr H and I are off on a trip to New Zealand soon so I will only be picking up emails while we're away. Will likely share some pics of our travels!

Aren't these just gorgeous! From A&E's wedding in July at Ashridge Great Barn. The flowers, colours and textures all worked perfectly together in the venue.

The bride & groom sent a lovely card saying 'Thank you so much for all of your hard work on making our wedding so special & beautiful! We couldn't have dreamed for more stunning flowers for our wedding! Your vision & process was amazing and we were so glad and lucky to have worked with you x'.

Been a bit quiet on here recently as me & Mr H have had a bit of time away in the sunshine.

Back with a bang last week for the Devon & Cornwall Floral Art Area Show.

Not great pics of my pieces, hoping the professional ones are way better than mine!

The tall one was titled ‘Sculpture in the Park’ and very surprised and so so pleased to win 1st prize & Best in Show!

My other piece was titled ‘Strata’ and I wanted people to have to peer inside the woven outer to see the layers inside. Over the moon to get a 2nd!

So a busy week but a brilliant one. The competitions are hard work and I love that they make me think and push myself! Congratulations to everyone who took part 🌸

Sophie sent me the most fabulous message saying how much she loved her flowers. I’m so pleased as I had a ball making everything for her wedding but in particular her bouquet. Just loved it 💕

It’s been a glorious day today!!

My favourite part of being a wedding florist is delivering the bridal bouquet. Absolutely brilliant when your bride gives a little squeak, claps her hands and does a mini jump up & down!!

There’s nothing better than knowing that you’ve got it just right. All bright colours for Sophie today and a relaxed abstract style bouquet.

Filled with big blowsy David Austen roses, phalaenopsis orchids, dahlias, hot pink craspedia, fresh green umbrella fern along with tons of other hot pink roses. What’s not to love 💕

Hope they’re having a magical day so far and I’ll share tomorrow the journey today that their venue flowers went on!

The studio is filled with huge pops of colour this morning! Looks magical especially on this wet and great day.

Looking forward to making everything for this weeks wedding. It’s going to be a blast of colour!!

Final installation on Sunday at the glorious Tunnels Beaches!

Quite the most spectacular view from there and the sea was a magical aqua blue colour.

Th sun came out for our couple Zoe & Jonny and hope they had a very special day.

Look forward to returning to this fabulous venue very soon.

What a Sunday morning in North Devon!

Arrived at Tunnel Beaches in Ilfracomve to set up the wedding.

Had a fantastic drive through Devon, the sun was shining, music was one with a coffee on the go.

Great way to start the day!

Today’s installation at the Tithe Barn, Symondsbury Estate. Such a gorgeous setting for a wedding!

Everything used in the ceremony was moved inside for the wedding reception. Always recommend doing this.

Many congratulations to Sarah and Harry and we left you at the venue bathed in sunshine. Wishing you every happiness together.

Think I might need to have some photography lessons as my pics do not do the arch justice!!
