Happy 18th birthday to our senior assistant and student Georgia. It seems like yesterday you toddled in to join the pre-primary ballet class at 3 years old. It’s been a privilege to share your childhood with you and we are so proud of the adult you have become. You have a great work ethic and have been so generous in the support you show us as teachers. What an incredible year of achievements too- Grade 8 and Intermediate Ballet, Intermediate Tap, Presidents Award for Jazz, all alongside Acro and Contemporary classes, not forgetting A levels! We’re lucky we have you for one more year and the show in April. Enjoy your celebrations. From us all x

Unbelievable and devastating news today of events at a Southport dance event. Thinking of all those affected.

It’s my mum’s 87th birthday today! She misses her Saturdays at the dance school since she’s become my dad’s full time carer. Happy birthday 🎂

Ballet examination results are out! I’m feeling very proud. 100% success. Special mention to Ella, Georgia and Matilda gaining High Merits in their Intermediate Ballet examination. This is a huge achievement. (I’m in zante atm with not the greatest wifi. I’ll email everyone their results next Monday but if you’re desperate email me and I’ll try my best to reply.)

Ballet exams complete for the term. Well done all - just the wait for results now! Huge thanks to Jayne for saving the day and operating the music in Miss Caroline’s absence. We really appreciate your support at such short notice too Jayne. I’m pleased to report Miss Caroline is starting to feel a little better so hopefully she’ll be back soon. All classes will run as planned tomorrow prior to Tap and Jazz medals / exams on Saturday. Advanced jazz is running too tonight. (Either with Jo or Caroline.)

Thrilled to hear of the successes of dance school leavers 2021.
Maddy has graduated with a 1st Class Honours in Equine & Veterinary BioScience. Shannon has graduated with a 1st Class Honours in Drama and Theatre. Well done both of you. It would be lovely to hear from other leavers also graduating this year. 🩷
