World Mental Health Day takes place every year on October 10th to spotlight mental health around the world, raise awareness of mental health issues and encourage efforts to support those experiencing mental health issues. The World Federation for Mental Health announced the theme for World Mental Health Day 2024, ‘Mental Health at Work’.
At Trinity, we have a team of trained Mental Health First Aiders who are on hand to support when needed. Talking about mental and emotional health can help you and those around you to be happier and healthier.
We also have mindfulness tools, such as meditation guides and adult colouring books, in our offices.
As part of the PTSG Group, Trinity staff have access to an extensive benefits package that includes exclusive offers on fitness and wellness products, and much more.
Calling all Fire Alarm Works engineers in Bristol, West Midlands and London.
We are looking for engineers who want to further their training, knowledge and expertise, to work within our Fire Suppression Works team. We will provide training to develop your skills, so you can work on the electrical elements of our Gas Suppression systems.
We see this as a great opportunity for the right person, who wants to increase their knowledge and take the step into a different area within the Fire Protection industry.
There is also scope for further training across a number of different systems, to create a truly multi skilled engineer.
If you want every day to be a new challenge, on a number of high-profile sites across the UK, this is the role for you!
Please contact our recruitment team [email protected] for further details.
1st August is Cycle to Work Day, the UK's biggest cycle commuting event!
Cycle to Work Day promotes the physical, mental and financial benefits of cycling to work.
Our Management Accountant, Dan, is one of our many employees that cycle to work daily!
To end Net Zero week, we are delighted to announce that our Heathrow office has achieved Net Zero Carbon for the 2nd year running!
Our Net Zero Carbon strategy’s next focus offices are located in the Midlands & Southwest, as we systematically work through all of our locations. Our target is to achieve this across the company by 2030.
Bamboo products (such as hand towels and toilet paper) are now being used in our regional offices.
Bamboo products are highly eco-friendly, they are renewable and a biodegradable material, meaning there is minimal environmental impact.
Last month, 19 trees were planted on our behalf as part of our uniform suppliers initiative to reduce CO2 emissions.
By absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, trees help to combat climate change.
All of our new starters are now issued with welcome packs, which include reusable chilly bottes & travel cups.
These bottle & cups are sustainable, convenient and easy to clean. You can also use them in coffee shops, with many offering discounts to encourage the reduction of single use plastic and waste.
Sophia & Olivia joined the Service team earlier this year and received their welcome packs shortly after!
This year we have invested in a cardboard shredder at our warehouse. This has enabled us to remove all plastic packaging from our logistics operations.
Cardboard shredders provide an efficient means of recycling cardboard but also offer businesses an opportunity to create their own, free eco-friendly packaging materials. As we move towards a more sustainable future, these machines are playing a pivotal role in reducing waste and minimising our environmental footprint.
Several of our employees are trained to use the shredder, including New Maintenance Sales Manager Emma, who will be celebrating 10 years at Trinity this year!
Here we have Ali, our Training & HR Administrator, utilising the Trinity Cycle to Work scheme.
Our scheme offers incentives to employees who can cycle to work. The benefits of cycling to work are CO2 emission reduction, congestion reduction, and improved public health and wellbeing.
Today marks the start of Net Zero week 2024!
We are using this week to showcase the various ongoing initiatives we have to reach our Net Zero Carbon target…
Keep your eyes peeled for updates!
World Environment Day has been held annually on 5 June since 1973, it is the largest global platform for environmental public outreach and is celebrated by millions of people across the world.
