Caroline is passionate yoga teacher and teacher trainer who loves to share her learnings through playful and creative, anatomy informed flows, helping her students to move with purpose and awareness. Her goal is to empower yogis through her love of functional movement, nervous system and brain health to a place of wellness both on and off the mat. She is a Yoga Alliance ERT-500 and YACEP, and has been teaching and sharing yoga through classes, workshops, retreats and teacher training since 2011. She also shares a range of training including Pure Vinyasa 200 hour YTT, Advanced Anatomy & Sequencing 300 hour YTT, 50 hour Yin & Chinese Meridians YTT and 30 hour Anatomy for Yoga YTT. Caroline came to yoga from an athletic and competitive running background with a desire to better understand her body after the continued injuries from various long distance and track running events. She has accumulated over 800 hours of dedicated training with some of her favourite teachers over the years including Jo Phee, Jason Crandell, Noah Maze, Dice, Tiffany Cruikshank, Sarah Powers both online and in person. She is forever grateful to their dedication to continued learning which has kept her inspired to keep learning, evolving and adapting in her own studies and practice.

Roll and Release Shoulders, Neck & Back

Do you hold a lot of tension in your neck and upper body?
Would you like to learn easy techniques to help relieve tightness and tension held in the shoulders, neck and back? If so, this is going to be for you. This workshop is going to be a soft and slow morning of myofascial release, restorative and yin yoga with specific focus on relieving tension and stress held around the shoulders, neck and back.
Fascia is a network of connective tissue that holds and binds us together, when healthy it gives us our bounce and rebound and keeps us feeling mobile and buoyant, but due to every day stresses and strains the fascia network can often become knotty, rigid and brittle, causing pain and restricted movement. In this workshop, we'll use techniques of direct myofascia release including gentle pressure, gliding and rolling to help rehydrate and replenish this wonderfully springy, fluid and buoyant body wide web.
We'll get the body moving, with some free, fluid intuitive movement; softening and moving our bodies in new ways, releasing restrictive patterns of movement and repetitive strain in the body. There will be soft yin to gently tease open the tissues and plenty of stillness and time in restorative positions to fully absorb and soak up all the goodness from this deeply nourishing and replenishing practice.

Mmmmm smell the coffee ☕
My morning treat, my 1 coffee a day. I used to drink 3 cups each day, but that would make me feel too wired now 😅 Plus I wouldn't be able to sleep properly later.
Getting sensitive to caffeine is one of the symptoms of menopause. I explain why at my workshops. Plus I share lots of tips and easy techniques to help make the transition through menopause easier.
