My favourite kind of weekend.. sunshine, sand, fish and chips, fruit cider and smiles. I love Exmouth. Living away for 10 years had allowed me to fall in love with it all over again

I'm home! Kidney and ureter are holding steady, which is such a relief. The only grumble I have is that little miss leg bag is back, but hopefully not forever. It's a much better option than having bouts of bladder retention and constant bladder spasms.

Yesterday, I posted an honest post about feeling lonely. I mean, as humans, we all need somebody, right? I'm so humbled and amazed by the response that I got from such wonderful and kind people. If you're somebody who's feeling the same, please reach out. It's a hard thing to admit when life isn't looking like that perfect instagrammable shot. Life is beautiful, but it's not always easy. Always remember how strong you are, even in the darkest of times. Sending love and light as always ❤️

I like to keep all my favourite things that help with my mental wellbeing at hand, right next to me in bed. They are there for me first thing in the morning and last thing at night. Crystals, crystal water bottle, wellbeing journal, manifestation cards, aromatherapy oils, himalayan salt lamp, smudging spray. I'm an alternative kinda girl, as you all know. Keep doing what makes you happy.

Such an appropriate card today. With the right inspiration in my life, I'm finding that my attitude is slowly beginning to shift in a positive direction. With a positive mindset, we can all be abundantly happy. Don't get me wrong, we all have times in our lives when we just want to close the curtains and stay in bed, but by creating a positive mantra and believing that you are worthy of happiness is a very powerful thing ✨️

This year has been beyond tough for me for many reasons. Starting from now, I'm choosing love instead of fear. Don't get me wrong.. this won't happen overnight as many of us spend a lifetime in fear as a default setting due to childhood trauma, low self esteem and even just by watching the news. But in recognising the desire to change is already taking the big first step. When you have a negative thought, forgive yourself for it and say out loud or to yourself 'Thank you, Universe for allowing my mind to open. I choose love '.

Does anyone else never bother with make up and think 'what's the point?' Well today I flipped that thought around and told myself that I can put make up on purely because I want to. Its for me to enjoy and that's a good enough reason as any

Starting my new job in Exeter on 1st September..and we still have nowhere to live! We have a couple of viewings today so trying the power of manifestation to make our dream life back home a reality. We surely do deserve a bit of luck after a difficult few months.

Warning.. blood. Stent is now in place and this is what is draining from my kidney. Hopefully it will reduce a bit tomorrow so I can get home and prepare for the move. Positive mental attitude!

I really needed this card. Know that you are worthy of your big dreams, and harvest the energy and strength to make them happen. We can do this. We can lift each other up.

Finally home! I managed to persuade the consultant to let me home but I have to return in a couple of weeks for surgery in an attempt to save my right kidney and ureter. Still passing blood. Fingers crossed it settles down during the day or I have to return to hospital for an emergency nephrectomy. All whilst trying to prepare for the big move back to Exmouth. Phew! Trying not to freak out!

Sorry that I've not been very active, my lovelies. As you can see, I am yet again, in hospital. Unfortunately they can't find out what is wrong so they don't know how to put it right. But the funny thing is, although my physical health is poor right now, my mental health and determination is not. I'm more excited about the future than I have been for a long while. Having completed my course in holistic womens health, I can now help guide women through their menopause or menstrual cycles, along with other aspects of womens wellbeing. I'm currently on a counselling so I can try and help people, like I feel like i was meant to do on this earth. Sending so much love to you all

Phew! What a week. Its been a bit of a roller coaster full of ups and downs. I'm still getting used to life with a catheter, which at times can be rather frustrating. I apologise for the radio silence to my clients, but I'll be bouncing back soon with a new date for our women's circle. Sending so mich love and light to you all 😘

Wow! I had the most amazing district nurse today. I was discharged from hospital with no catheter care information at all. She
Came to my house and gave me a full lesson, stayed well over her time slot. She fully enlightened me and said 'Did you know that you dont even have to wear a bag?' All I needed was a little valve to empty my bladder every3 to. 4 hours and can just have a bag at night time? I was so amazed and thankful to earn this. So now during the day I Just have a little plastic valve w***y!

I'm finally home! Was a complete surprise when I was told I could be discharged this afternoon. I'm over the moon. It's going to be a lo g road of recovery and learning to live with a catheter, but with the support of my family and friends, and my determination... I can do this! I will keep you posted every step of the way
