We are very proud of the Cubs and Scouts who joined the Remembrance Parade today in Falkirk town centre. They did a brilliant job representing our group and the district whilst showing their respect. βοΈ
Thank you to everyone who attended and who contributed to our AGM last night. In particular, the enthusiasm and energy from all the scouts and explorers was infectious. Along with the usual business, thanks and reports from the section leaders there was an Investiture and feedback from scouts on their activities over the last year. Further presentations ranged from the experience of taking part in an Explorer Belt expedition to The Netherlands, to the Jamborette in Haarlem, near Amsterdam and to attending the World Scout Jamboree in South Korea with 46,000 other scouts. These young people have been moving through our sections for many years and are an inspiration to those young people following them.
Seeing their development and confidence reaffirms that the many hours contributed by all our volunteer leaders and the many helpers along the way, is so worth it. πππ
Tonight is our Group AGM. All parents, helpers and leaders should have had an invite. Some of our fabulous young people are doing inputs about their scouting adventures over the year, including international experiences.
See you at 7pm at the hall. Remember parking is very limited. Please be considerate to our neighbours.
Remember the group AGM is tomorrow night at 7pm in the hall.
After our many years of fundraising events, our bathroom conversion project is under way. Thanks to all who contributed. The contractors are hoping to complete in 3-4 weeks.
What a fantastic Tribute Night fundraiser for us last night at The Three Kings, Shieldhill. We were joined by many parents, family, friends, leaders and previous scouts to enjoy an evening of fun, laughter and plenty of dancing.
Thank you all who attended for creating a joyous atmosphere and for your generous contributions. Thanks to all the staff involved at The Three Kings Wedding Venue for great food and service
Thanks also to the many businesses, parents and friends of 1st Falkirk Scouts for their generous donations.
The event raised a magnificent sum of Β£2,600 for the group funds.
Thanks to the Organisers of the District Spring Fling for a brilliant day on Saturday and what a brilliant weekend for a camp! βΊοΈ Couldn't have asked for better weather. We are really proud of the cubs, especially after seeing them leading a campfire song so well for all the other Squirrels, Beavers and Cubs from the District! Looking forward to our next camp already.
7 years ago our fundraiser was a race night in the rugby club. We have had various events through the years.
Next Friday we have a Tribute Night. We have sold over 120 tickets but there are still a few tickets remaining. The raffle prizes are coming in but we can always accept more. If you are interested in tickets or raffle, please get in touch.
Three Kings Fundraising Evening

QUIZ & CURRY IS BACK!!
We are hosting our famous Quiz & Curry night on Friday the 28th of October 2022. After plenty of lockdown quiz practice, why not put together a team and see if you can be our 2022 quiz champions.
This year we are supporting our Scouts and Volunteers who are attending the World Scout Jamboree in Korea 2023. These Scouts and Volunteers are a part of unit 5 the βKilted Kelpiesβ and the International Support Team. Part of their journey to Korea is to raise money towards their trip, that in turn contributes to the UK contingent and enables scouts from more deprived countries to attend.
If you would like a fun filled night then please book your tickets through the following link or scan the QR code on the poster below!
