Any excuse to add another beautiful obelisk (and rose!) to the garden 😍

Here, a super sturdy 3m tall steel obelisk will be home to my beautiful David Austin Roses Lady of the Lake.

Top Tip: plant your roses on the OUTSIDE of the obelisk and train a couple of the main stems straight up to the top of the structure. Then spiral the other stems around the structure, tying-in as you go - this encourages flowers from the ground upwards. Once the stems have reached the top regularly prune to keep them within bounds.

Woo Hoo! It’s Frrriiiiiiday! Anyone else feel exhausted after the heat this week? I am so ready for the weekend! This little 🌸 has totally made my day, though. My first sweet pea of the year. I sowed them so late I didn’t think they’d ever flower.

Moo’rning 🐮 How are we all today? Did you have a good weekend?

I’ve woken up with a stinkin’ cold and feel terrible - but, it was a good weekend with sunshine on my face, so I’m happy!

Meet my new friend 😂 He lives on the farm at the end of my road - I love him! We were there for an NGS Open Garden and it was wonderful . I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many hellebores in one garden! So, so excited for Spring 🌱

Restock day at New Forest Emporium & Water Garden Centre 🌿. Of course, Cecil, Susie, Sidney and Stanley (the snails! 🐌) are stealing the limelight 😂. Also included are more of our gorgeous poppies and poppy seed heads ❤️. Lots to see!

He loves me! ❤️ Some girls get flowers (I make my own 😂) but the way to this girl’s heart is through POWER TOOLS 🥰. Some of my work is very delicate or detailed and sometimes the big stuff is just too… well, big!
