A new flavour combo; chai spiced sponge (using chai mix) with an orange juice drizzle and orange frosting 😀

I wasn’t quick enough this week to tell you about this cake as it was sent to but has now been eaten 😂 so don’t expect a slice today! However do head along for some Rose cardamom and pistachio cake or a slice of sunny Lemon and raspberry cake 😍

There’s a new cake on the block ☺️ can’t believe I hadn’t tried this one sooner (thanks 😍) as it now seems like such a delicious no brainer.

Vanilla sponge with fresh raspberries cooked inside; sandwiched by raspberry jam and frosting; covered in frosting that has freshly made raspberry juice blended into it; drizzled with vanilla icing and finally topped off with freeze dried raspberry crumbs 🤤

And it’s all vegan

But you don’t have to be vegan to eat it

Slightly new combo-previously made this cake with either lemon drizzle or vanilla frosting but this time we have lime frosting, lime juice drizzle and crystallised stem ginger to finish it off!

Recently…a simple but strong 10” cake choice, packed full of almond deliciousness, sandwiched by posh morello cherry conserve and decorated with French and glacé cherries plus freshly toasted flakes almonds sat on top of a lemon drizzle icing. Yum!

Thanks to my lovely regular customer I did a batch of these little pastry delights last week 😀

Was good to revisit as I’m rarely making them and they’re a bake close to my heart! As someone who is half Portuguese I know how a good pastel should taste, and at the start of my kitchen witch journey I became obsessed with the idea of creating a vegan alternative as it felt like a decent challenge! After many many attempts this little beauty was the one I felt happiest with 😀 and it is my very own secret recipe, a definite spell that worked!

If you have a burning desire for these little treats then do message me, a box of 12 vegan or non vegan pasteís can be yours for £20 and can be frozen and reheated individually at home for the maximum experience ☺️

This was a recent bespoke order for a lucky birthday girl, lucky to have a friend like !

I’ve pimped up my original vic sponge design and this is the result, more frosting and a deeper sponge with jammy extras on top and a flurry of rose petals to add to it. Pleased with the result!
