Hello everyone, here’s an example of a new fuse board fitted for a client in a domestic property. The new board was fitted with all the latest protective devices including type A RCBO’s, a surge protection device and main switch. The install also comprised of a zappi car charging unit being installed, various broken fascias being replaced and the existing feed cable being correctly installed. As you can see from the 4th photo in this selection and after unwrapping layers and layers of insulation tape, the earth cable simply fell out of the connector block that a previous electrician had tried to use to extend the cable. This was highly dangerous as the outgoing circuits in the fuse board would have had no earth. Thankfully no one was hurt.
These jobs were done in accordance with the client’s specification and also to bring the installation up to spec for testing. The fuse board was then fully tested and certificated for a very happy customer. Please contact us if you would like a quote 👍

Hi everyone, here is another example of a consumer unit upgrade for you all. Some old equipment originally in the original consumer unit that we swapped out for some top of the line Hager replacements. This job was complete with a new metal board, a main switch, RCBO protection devices governing each circuit and a surge protection device. We also completed a full EICR (electrical installation condition report) and fully signed off certification. Let us know if there is any work we can help you with.

Hi everyone, another update on some work you my be interested in us being able to complete for you. This was a complete consumer unit upgrade for a client. A consumer unit upgrade consists of a full change/upgrade of the electrical protection devices complete with surge protection to meet current regulations and an upgrade of the board itself, a full EICR (electrical inspection condition report), and fully signed off certification for the aforementioned work. A customer of mine has been re-decorating their bathroom and wanted new LED downlights to be fitted. This is a discreet way of adding some clean, crisp lighting to a room.
