In collaboration with , Scottish Violence Reduction Unit, and police Scotland it is an absolute honor to be part of this project. Our goal is to build and facilitate raising further awareness within communities and among professionals across Scotland on how we can build bridges to gain a deeper understanding, address barriers, and support diverse communities in their journey in Scotland.

At the beginning of this week, I facilitated the second training session on Building Bridges Awareness at Dalmarnock Police Station in Glasgow with the team, marking another successful session.

The session provided a platform for powerful conversations filled with profound insights, leading to meaningful discussions about cultural awareness, the migration journey, family dynamics, and the trauma experienced by new Scots.

The session explored ways to build bridges that will contribute to building and repairing relationships with the diverse community, enhancing perceptions, and developing a deeper understanding of various cultures, traditions, and barriers.

We look forward to delivering these training sessions over the coming months to professionals in various sectors all over Scotland.
