Are you new to competing or a smaller Dance School looking for a good starting point for your dancers? We are open to dancers who have competed in 3 or less competitions.

Why not enter our Independent, Fun, Fair and Unbiased Competition. We are hosting competitors in Solos, Duets, Trios and Teams.

Sorry its a late one, I have been really busy this week.

Sunday sees the start of Block 3 where we will be doing some Freestyle, looking forward to this one as Freestyle is one of my all time favourite styles 👌

Dates for Block 3 are not all together as I have cancelled one class due to it falling on Mothers Day and another as it falls on Easter Sunday. See below for Block 3 Details and don't forget to reserve your space by commenting if you will pay as you go or Block Book.

💜 Working away in the Background to get our First Novice Hip Hop Competition up and running 💜

Location will be Glasgow Based and open to dancers who have little to no competition experience. Anyone who has competed in 3 or less competitions will be welcomed to take part in our Fun and Friendly Comp for Solos, Duets, Trios and Squads.

Hi Everyone,

I know I have been really quiet on the page recently but I have not forgotten about all my fab followers!

I hope that you are all well and coping during what has been a really tough time for us all.

I miss face to face contact for dance so much and cannot wait to be able to get back teaching face to face again with my students. Zoom and online classes have taken its toll, it has not been easy!

I have been busy planning in the background for KWM Dance Events and I hope over the next couple of weeks to announce our first Online Dance Competition.

Today is World Mental Health Day and here at K W M Dance Events we strongly believe that mental health matters. Just because you cannot see someone's illness does not mean it is not there. Dance for a lot of people is a means of release and can be a safe place for them to express themselves without feeling judged. Strong friendships and support networks are often bond at dance classes as dancers find others who are in the same frame of mind as themselves and can take comfort that others are there for them. 💚💚 💚💚

Hi Everyone,

I would like to take the time to introduce myself and tell you a bit about K W M Dance Events.

My name is Cheryl and I am the founder of K W M Dance Events. I have been dancing since the age of 3 and qualified to teach in 1997 when I was 18 years old. The same year that I qualified I opened up my own Dance Group and have been teaching weekly classes ever since!

The aim of K W M Dance Events is to bring Fun, Friendly Masterclasses, Competitions and Days of Dance to Glasgow and surrounding areas. Events will be held throughout the year in various locations and the styles of dance will vary for each event. Events are open to Individual Dancers and Dance Groups. All level of dancers are welcome from beginners to the more advanced dancers. I would love for you all to attend events and form new friendships, gain more confidence, build on your skills and take away some new ones!

K W M Dance Events was formed in 2020 in memory of my friend Kellyann Walker who sadly gained her angel wings far too early and is now dancing in the sky watching over us all. Kellyann was such a big part of my Dance Family and was always there to lend a hand at my classes, judge in house competitions and help back stage at displays, all of which she done over and above her own job and also running her own Cheerleading classes.

Hi Everyone, Just thought I would post today to share Gavin Williams online Zoom Classes.

Gavin was all booked and ready to coach at the Lyrical Masterclasses for K W M Dance Events which were sadly cancelled due to Covid19.

Times are so difficult for all of us in The Arts Industry just now so we all need to stick together and support each other more than ever.

I hope you can all support Gavin by looking at the info supplied in the pictures and booking some Zoom classes with him.

Feeling very positive today after a meeting regarding getting back to some sort of normal for events.

🎉🎉Planning for a big relaunch for
K W M Dance Events hopefully in Aug if I get the go ahead required following Government Guidance, so I am really excited to be working on this in the background and hope to be able to reveal to you all what the event will be in the very near future 🎉🎉

A bit late in posting this considering we are more than half way through the 1st July already! Time sure is flying 🕜🕖🕘🕦

Just wanted to say a quick Hi to everyone and I hope you are all keeping well.

This month should have been K W M Dance Events 1st Competition but like everything else planned for this year it has been put on hold 😔

All going well with the Covid Restrictions being lifted this event will be replanned for the end of the year if I can secure a venue.

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all still safe and well. I am still struggling with not getting to be at classes with all my dancers, I miss interaction with them so much 😪 Zoom classes seem to have become the norm for now but I cannot wait to get back to classes in the hall with loads of space to move, dance and be happy. Please all continue to stay safe and look after yourselves physically and mentally. Hi Everyone, I hope you are all well. I have been quiet on the page as I have been busy working away in the background with my own dancers. We have had fun with Tik Tok challenges, Quiz night and weekly classes on Zoom. Hope it's not too long now until we can all get out and about and mix in larger groups again as I am so looking forward to getting Masterclasses and competitions in place for the end of the year. Keep dancing, keep smiling and feel free to message me any ideas or suggestions you may have for Events after lockdown is over.
