Skills and training in ecommerce is a subject that comes up regularly. We’ve decided to organise a round table discussion on the subject led by Claire Gillespie, Head of Digital at Skills Development Scotland and Maddy Green, Associate Dean at the City of Glasgow College.

Claire will be able to outline what’s currently available along with national plans for skills and training in the digital area. Maddy is involved in a course being developed by a group of Scottish Colleges (Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Borders).

This is an opportunity for the business community to help shape future plans that align with the needs of industry in this area where there exists a dire skills shortage combined with zero sector-specific qualifications or certifications.

We’re expecting a lively debate. Please come along on Tuesday 1st November at 9.30-10.30am and help us gain the resources we need to help grow ecommerce in Scotland.
