My dads finally getting discharged from hospital this evening after his 3 week stint. Been working on backlog commissions today, still not had a chance to reply about bookings yet, this week for sure!

Never spent so much time dealing or being around hospitals it's bloody draining and I'm not even the patient 😩 Feel for my poor da, Marie Curie nurses internally from that hospital should be seeing him tomorrow after they changed his pain meds today to counter side effects. Early visit tomorrow morning then I can head home either late tomorrow or Saturday to recharge before the next shift after my brother takes over

3 hours of sleep, barely any commission work done, and a broken heel still are all building up 🫠

Our wee seaside holiday was lovely - especially during a rare Scottish heatwave! Back home now, birthday today, and then back to the grind come Monday! September is now fully booked for commissions, but I will reply during the next week or two regarding October slots :)

12 weeks, nurse, doctor, x-ray, professor, physio and ultrasound later to discover my heel IS indeed broken like I initially thought 🫠 Now I'm waiting on an MRI and bone density scan to see the extent of damage and what the after care will be. My sleepless nights and pain filled days have been justified 😭

Thankfully working from home means I don't have to travel!

I've got LOTS to finish this week before a weeks holiday planned for next week. Please bare with me 💙

Rheumatology appt this morning to investigate my non-broken foot, so I'll be catching up when I get home this afternoon! Top priority for tomorrow is getting everyone booked in for September then I know what's upcoming 💪

I AM HOME (well my parents til I get home home tomorrow). Maaaan today was HOT 🥵 Had a lovely time vending with Pocketexotics ! I'll definitely get working on more bug related goodies for next year 💙

For anyone and their kids that enjoy anything buggy the Scottish Invertebrate Show is being held in Scotstoun this Sunday, doors open 11am. I'll be sharing a table with Pocketexotics , Ashley with her bugs, me with my art. It's a fun wee day out if you've not got any phobias 🙈🤣
