Miss Catherine Cranston, also known as Kate Cranston, was the entrepreneurial Glasgow businesswoman whose Tea Rooms in the early 1900s inspired our venues.

Working with a relatively unknown designer at the time called Charles Rennie Mackintosh (you may have heard of him), Miss Cranston ensured her Tea Rooms were truly unique in character and charm, which lives on at The Willow Tea Rooms today.
