I’ve had some big career changes in 2024 - one of them training to become a hairdresser.

Many of you know I will qualify at the end of August ✂️ I’ve worked tirelessly for this. Maintaining 2 jobs, retraining, learning, assignments, being a mum and running a home. I can now say that I only have 1 job as a hairdresser and makeup artist which I do full time.

I have been given the perfect opportunity to gain salon experience whilst I’m still learning at the Hayloft in Glossop from the 1st August.

I will still be working from home on other days. But for now I’m doing every Thursday until I complete my course when I’ll have more availability.

There are some wonderful hairdressers in Glossop who I aspire to be like and with my experience in hair styling, hair extensions and mesh Intigration systems, I’ll be working to be up there with the best 🖤

How to tell if the LA weave hair method fitting is right for you? And what is it?

Anchor points placed through the hair which will help secure the weft into place. Siliconed lined beads are used for this. Using these silicone lined beads helps protect the hair when secured into place. Ranging from 1 to 4 rows around the head, depending on the thickness of your own hair.

This hair method wasn’t suitable for people with finer hair - however, recent changes in the market have changed that and there is now the nano weft available too.
