A reminder that St John’s Street in Farncombe is closed for a few days from tonight so you might want to leave a bit earlier in the morning to make sure you get your fix of our amazing coffee.

Thankfully we haven’t had to post this for a while, but unfortunately here we are again…

Some context- strikes days on average cost us around two thirds of our usual turnover and as a small business that’s really hard to take. So please support us and all the small businesses that contribute so much to local communities.

Today was a day to celebrate, we had our busiest ever day!! Slightly bonkers and no real explanation as to why, maybe it’s just the power of our community.

I need to thank all the team, we bicker, bitch, tease and love each other without question. I couldn’t do what I do without them all, they’re my rocks, keep me sane (and drive me mad), I also need to thank all our community of friends (also called customers), we make coffee and sandwiches and we do it for the best customers we could ever imagine. Thank you all.

Ps. Howard Schultz was the CEO of Starbucks, they also make coffee and you may have heard of them 😉

We’re open, for now! We have some pressure and water and the coffee is flowing, however, it’s not what it normally is so please allow a little extra for your morning hot of Surrey’s finest coffee.

As you know we’re helping out with the catering for Godalming Fireworks and we’re doing a final sweep for volunteers to help tomorrow night! You’ll get a burger and pint (and the best seats in the house), for your efforts! If you’re free call John on 06881 365747

It’s back with a (lot of) bang, and we’re doing a lot of the catering for it (and of course our coffees), there’s still some tickets left and the weather is looking good for it too. Use the QR code to book now.

Unfortunately due to the maintenance work at the station SWR have asked us to close on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th October. We’re not overly happy about the late notice but we need to keep our staff safe whilst they do work on the canopy. We will be back open nice and early on Monday morning though. Tesla won’t be running the shuttle tomorrow either as we expect the station to be super quiet. Sorry to all our lovely loyal customers.

1) We’re still open this week for amazing coffee and delicious food
2) We’re working with to get you to Guildford station and save you from .
3) If you are going away you can buy our beans ground up to whatever machine you have, John made it to and is having his first brew of the day using an and assures us it’s almost as good as when we make it at the shop 😉

The trains might not be running, but we’re still determined that our amazing customers are fuelled correctly (coffee and sandwiches), and of course we’re running a VIP service from Farncombe station to Guildford station saving them from the bus!! Thanks UK for making this happen.

We’ve teamed up with again to offer our amazing customers a lift to Guildford Station next week when the line is closed between Petersfield and Guildford. To book your lift pop in to the station and sign up. If you book a test drive you’ll also get free coffee too 👍

We’re having to close on Saturday 14th Oct due to platform works at the station (thanks for the advanced notice SWR), however, if you need your fix of the best coffee around then pop down to where we’ll be serving from 08:30 from the container at the end of the Pavilion (also known as MandaLous).

A HUGE thank you to everyone who sponsored me for my little run last weekend, I managed 2:30 which I’m super chuffed with. Most importantly I raised almost £1,400 for charity and so much of that came from our amazing customers (including £280 in the cash pot), thank you so so sooooooo much for all your generosity, you made an old, unfit, sarcastic barista very happy. Thank you.

It’s train strike day (again), and not even our amazing coffee can keep Mandy and John awake, so pop down and demand they make you tasty treats for lunch and keep them from their slumber (please 🙏🏽)!
