Hi all, we're looking for a volunteer with a vehicle who can collect from Tesco Goole on a Tuesday and Thursday evening (around 7:30 to 8pm) and bring to the shop on the following morning (about 9:30 - 10am). Contact on here or phone 07543290407.

Hello all, we are very low on supplies, in fact we have enough for one full food parcel. All the basics needed if anyone can help.

If you purchase food from Tesco in Goole to donate to Mission Trinity please do not place it in the donation trolley in store. We have just been told by FareShare that we can no longer collect from this trolley. It will be allocated elsewhere. If you want to donate to us it will have to be direct for the time being. Thank you to the customers that have supported us through this convenient method in the past.
The basic story is that Fareshare supervise the collection trolley in Tesco. They report the weight of food given by the customers back to Tesco but only if the foodbank collecting weighs everything. Fareshare then advertise how much food they have distributed without actually doing anything other than shuffling numbers.
These are customer bought donations for which Tesco have provided the space for a trolley, for which we thank them, but Fareshare have now said we cannot have.
Please donate directly to the foodbank of your choice. Sorry for the rant.

We are getting short of tinned veg, tinned fruit and soups if anyone can help.

Our phone is out of action today. Normal service should resume tomorrow.
