It was the commission for a pair of tenders to accompany Feadship superyacht Madame Gu, over a decade ago, that really helped to put Compass Tenders on the map. Fast forward to 2024, and we’ve now built tenders for several iconic Feadship’s, including a pair of tenders for Anna, two DRIBs for Halo, and a duo for Moonrise 💫

The 110m Anna is one of the most distinctive Feadship superyachts on the water. She was designed by Michael Leach Design Ltd and we were delighted to collaborate with the famous studio for the design of her two tenders - that’s her 10m open tender sitting at her stern.

New images of the 105.26m Oceanco H3 have been revealed, including this awesome shot of her 11.1m full-custom Compass limousine being made ready for service.

Currently on the market with EDMISTON - WORLD LEADERS IN YACHTING, H3 was originally delivered in 2000 and recently underwent a stunning rebuild at Oceanco to a design by Reymond Langton Design who also turned their skills to the limousine’s interior.

Compass Tenders Completes 10.3m Limousine Tender for JESTER and INFINITE JEST Compass Tenders has announced that a 10.3m limousine tender has been completed for 68.9m JESTER, the support vessel to Turquoise Yachts’ 74.9m INFINITE JES…

New delivery! This 10.3m limousine tender is now in service to 68.9m Jester and 74.9m Infinite Jest.

Utilising Compass’ Latitude limousine platform in order to expedite the build time, this 10.3m limousine primarily serves MY Jester, the support vessel to the Turquoise Yachts-built MY Infinite Jest, but both are equipped with a garage space to carry the limousine.

“The brief was for a luxury limousine that could serve dual purposes – a smart and sophisticated tender with a solid performance. The support yacht, Jester, was originally launched in 1972 and was being refit by Pendennis Shipyard Ltd in the UK and the new-build, Infinite Jest, was already nearing completion at Turquoise Yachts when the Owner’s team turned to us for a tender solution. Working closely with all parties, we adapted the design of our semi-custom Latitude model to suit client requirements and completed the build in just 15 months.” – Richard Faulkner, Founder and CEO, Compass Tenders.

Embodying Compass’ design and build expertise amassed from over 17 years in business and the completion of 70 custom tender builds, this 10.3m limousine features a sliding glass roof system, custom handrails, and an air-conditioned cabin space with ambient lighting and leather detailing. The overall style is sleek, light, and minimalist.

The tender can be boarded at the bow or via the aft boarding steps, which meet seamlessly with the mothership’s stern platform. The tender has a stowed height of 2m, a draft of just 0.55m, and a top speed of 38 knots derived from two Yanmar 4LV-250HP inboard diesel engines and two Yanmar ZT370 stern drives. There is seating capacity for 16 passengers and two crew.

That’s a 12m full-custom Compass limousine tender speeding along ahead of its mothership, the 68m Wayfinder.

The catamaran is equipped with a hydraulic bow door, electronic adjustable height aft cockpit tables, a galley unit with two 80-litre fridges, a concealed head with shower, racks for scuba diving cylinders, and stowage for two SeaBobs with charging facilities. The forward seating units and sun pad can be removed to provide additional space for water toys or equipment, and there’s a carbon swim ladder that can be mounted in three different locations.

Power is derived from two Mercury Verado V12 outboard engines, delivering a top speed of 50 knots, and a solar panel of 4sq.m is integrated within the bimini.

This project was a little different however… Taking a step sideways from superyacht tenders, this 13m catamaran was commissioned to serve a property on a private island in the Bahamas. We guess you’d call it a ‘house cat’!

It is designed and outfitted for luxury excursions with a seating capacity for 24 passengers and two crew. At 13m long and with a 4.4m beam, the catamaran has a draft of just 0.95m – ideal for island hopping, water sports, and day-long cruising.

Certified to carry 14 passengers with adaptable position seating, it’s equipped with a 135-litre integrated cool box, galley counter, and a head with shower that’s concealed in the console.

As we near the end of 2023, we take the opportunity to reflect on a few of the year’s highlights, which includes winning Tender of the Year for our 12.3m ‘Shadow Kitten’ at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards. We delivered five custom tenders, two of which were for a 76m Feadship superyacht, two for a 110m built by OceanCo, and a 13m catamaran for use at an oceanfront property in the Bahamas.

With delivery planned of a further five custom tender build next year, 2024 looks set to be another great year for us!
