For anyone fancying some sailing over seas whilst we wait for the season to warm up there are still a few boats available to charter for the European Melges 15 winter event in Cascais, Portugal.

The event consists of 2 practise days to get your eye in and get up to speed in the Melges 15 followed by a total of 9 races sailed from the 12th-14th of April.

As the season is starting to get up to full flight so are we!

GP Watercraft and Melges UK are excited to announce that after much interest in the Skeeta at the RYA dinghy show we are running a free demo day to anyone wishing to have ago in our Skeeta.

The day will be hosted by Weymouth Sailing Club on Saturday the 13th of April and is open to all keen sailors.

We would like to thank Royal Torbay Yacht Club for hosting a fantastic Melges demo day. It was great to see everyone sailing around smiling in our M15 dinghy. Here are some photos of some epic sailing in perfect conditions in Torbay (more pictures to follow).

We are delighted that our demo boats are now being booked up for events. Currently we have both boats being used for the Lord Birkett Trophy and Lymington Town Regatta, and one booked up for the Battle of the Hikers, Bala Long Distance race, Chichester Race Week and Irish Nationals.

Melges 15 Momentum Builds Deep in the Heart of Texas In a move to enhance its sailing program and add value to its club membership, the Houston Yacht Club recently purchased nine Melges 15s.

For a more forgiving feel upwind and to navigate larger sea states, the Melges 15 has just the right amount of fore and aft rocker.

The Skeeta has been used by Ineos team UK Americas cup team for foil training purposes, is currently used by the USA Sail GP team in their pathway program, by the Italian Sailing Federation for their foiling pathway, by the Royal Yachting Association for their integration of foiling into the GBR national sailing scheme and by sailing schools all around the globe.
