Class will be boxing focused with skipping circuits, shadow boxing, bag work, pad work and core drills to finish
As boxing requires all components of fitness, the class will suit anyone looking to enhance their muscular endurance, cv, strength or boxing skills

For anyone looking to take up boxing training, I will be starting a class on Monday 6/9/21, classes will be every mon/wed/Fri at 8pm located at Maximum Strength in Hamilton

All participants must have an interest in the sport or looking to improve their current fitness levels through boxing training

Sessions will be focused on the fundamentals of boxing and improving the groups fitness levels

CLIENT PROGRESS

Well done to on completing his first 6 weeks back to the gym
~
Iv only been working with Jack 1 day a week for the past 6 weeks, the first week Jack couldn't get through the session and wasnt fueled up enough to get through
~
Jack has now taking on board some nutritional tips and turns upto training fueled up and ready to go
~
Jack is now getting used to DOMS and understand 2 days into recovery it will be at its worse, now Jack gets proper sleep and is always hydrated
~
Let's see what the next 6 weeks brings 💪

CLIENT 6 WEEKS PROGRESS

Well done to one of my clients for putting in the hard work and adhering to the programme I set out for him
~
D had previously trained within MMA but had an shoulder injury which was restricting him from doing certain movements in the gym
~
His goal was to loose a small amount of fat and build up the upper body, the first 4 weeks we applied anatomical adaption before we started to lift heavier weights in the last 2 weeks
~
D's training consisted of upper and lower body sessions for the first 6 weeks, before moving onto a more specific programme focusing on large/small muscles groups
~
Now D is in poll position to start hypertrophy training and is also injury free and buzzing with his first 6 weeks into his new fitness journey
~
Well done for sticking to plan and turning up motivated every week mate, now it's time to grow for the next 6-8 weeks 🙌
6 WEEK PROGRESS
~
My first 6 weeks back in the gym were a big success, my only goal was to stay injury free and prepare the muscles, tendons etc to lift heavy in the coming weeks
~
For the first 4 weeks back in the gym I just done 2 upper body workouts and 1 lower body with resistance training staying light and higher reps
~
The last 2 weeks i started training the muscles in a small/large program, I also used the last 2 weeks to adapt to lifting heavier weights and adding in a 1 RM to each set
~
Now the body is ready to start hypertrophy training and grow, for the next 6-8 weeks I will follow a strength programme and start to build a stronger and more bulky figure
~

Leg day for .no.1 and div tonight, with this being their first leg workout since the gyms opening back up, we kept this session very light and focused on our technique with high rep and low weights
Both clients have set a goal of loosing some lockdown beef and tonning up the full body
In 6 weeks time we will reveal all the hard work and progress yous have put in and as long as we stick to our structured plan, the results will follow 😁

Well done to on his first session back after lockdown, Liam worked extremely hard during our workout last night you would think he hadn't stopped training 🥊
Liam is looking to trim that little bit of lockdown fat around his stomach and build strength within the upper body

My aim of the research is to find out what type of barriers women aged 18-32 encounter that men don't, within competitive sports in the UK
