Support for young people at this age is crucial, and statutory services are inundated with referrals.

The celebrations included a speech from our CEO thanking the Community Fund and its players, the big reveal of our new play therapy room, lots of excitement for what is to come and some delicious home baked goods from one of our Board members 🥳

We were also lucky enough to have a representative from the Community Fund join us to see firsthand the difference that the awarded £216,761 will make to our children and young people.

We cannot thank The National Lottery Community Fund enough for their very generous recent grant of £216,761 over 3 years💙

The money will allow us to reduce play therapy waiting times by up to 40%, provide counselling for up to 300 more young people and it will fund the start of our Youth Ambassadors Programme.

We would also like to thank those that play the National Lottery, as it would not be possible without you!

Pride Month is all about celebrating and commemorating members of the LGBTQIA+ community, so it is important to raise awareness for the mental health disparities that we see amongst these communities.

With over half of LGBTQIA+ people reporting depression, it is clear that more accessible support needs to be widely available for all.

What a great evening! Thank you to all of those who came out to support us last night, we had the best time quizzing with you 🥳

We are so excited to update you that our wonderful supporters Phil, Jack and Andrius have completed all three peaks! Thank you also to Marija who managed Ben Nevis even though she is unwell!

They didn’t quite manage it in 24 hours but all three peaks one after the other is an amazing feat!

YCT have seen a continued rise in demand for our services and we are so grateful to people who want to support us to ensure we can continue to provide services to children and young people!
