Windrush: Portraits of a Pioneering Generation is coming to Bristol for the first time this summer at the RWA.

This moving exhibition honours the accomplishments and legacy of the Windrush Generation. On display are ten portraits of remarkable Caribbean-British individuals by ten leading artists, including Sonia Boyce MBE and Amy Sherald.

I've decided to stop the home education courses and exhibitions. Private 121 lessons are still available for portfolio building (just drop me a message for more info if this is something that would appeal to you) but I've decided to focus more on adult workshops and a possible drawing club.

Hi all! Courses should be up and running soon from Geek Retreat Harrogate - I'm just waiting on day and times.

I have made the decision to run the course on a weekend day - I am a home educating parent myself and as we get closer to IGCSE's, I do have to be able to prioritise my daughter so I hope everyone can understand.

This also means that mainstream students can join in - we're all aware of the funding cuts to the arts in schools and hopefully this will be a great opportunity for socialising too.

I'm just getting dates and times together for an adult cyanotypes workshop and an adult drawing course too so exciting times.

Would you be interested in a short drawing course - for 6 weeks, one night a week aimed at improving your drawing skills generally or would one off workshops in a variety of media (cyanotypes/oil painting/acrylic painting) be of more interest to you?
