Team members from across country descended on Pennyhill Park Hotel in Surrey last week to celebrate our annual Agincare Heroes Awards. Now in our third year, the awards celebrate and recognise the excellence, dedication and skill of our incredible 4,000-strong workforce nationwide. 🎉

Winners and their guests (linked below) travelled from around the country to receive a specially designed trophy or Agincare Hero medal, honorary certificate, as well as a bouquet and financial recognition from Agincare Founder and Chairman Derek Luckhurst and Chief Executive Raina Summerson.

Thank you to our guest of honour, Jane Townson, Chief Executive of the Homecare Association, for attending the event and delivering such an inspiring speech, as well as for presenting the Care Team of the Year Award.

Meet your Agincare Heroes Award Winners 2024! Leading national care provider Agincare has announced the 2024 winners of its prestigious annual Agincare Heroes Awards.

A lovely sunny day in Thirsk celebrating the summer fair, with stalls and a beautiful painting by Norman! ☀️

We raised a total of £307! The money raised will go towards new activities chosen by our residents. These activities will include art classes, darts, book club and a few other things.

A good day was had by all! 😊

Yesterday we held a MacMillan coffee morning at Orchid House and raised £360.00!

We had various cakes, a tombola, pick a number and guess how many Colin the Caterpillar. All money raised was in memory of Ann Brook. She was our cleaner and did decorations for all events and ran the tuck shop. Sadly, she passed away last week from cancer.

We have also mounted a plaque in her memory in our garden room. Going forward we will be sponsoring The Ann Brook Award for Outstanding Contribution each September which will be voted for by the residents and is open to anyone.
