Another job completed this week - YES - we do DO decking 🤣

Scaffold up this morning, steels on for the floors next week getting ready for the 11m ridge steel!

We also handed the keys back to our client at our harrogate Refurbishment and extension project!

We started on restoring this former billiards room into a new residential dwelling this week over in Oakwood!

Getting your garden ready for winter isn’t just about the plants it’s also about the leaves. Clear those leaves away which have fallen not just to make for a tidy garden but also to stop any sludge under foot.

💦 Jet wash or hose your pathways
If you have a drive or path this can get slippy in this season so once you have cleared away any leaves give it a good jet wash or hose down to avoid falls.

✂️ Sharpen and wash your gardening tools
Tidy that shed up and clean your tools and give them a sharpen while you’re at it to stop any bacteria forming.

☣️ Get the w**d killer out
While you’re putting your feet up, let the w**d killer work it’s magic. It is a great time of year to get those w**ds killed off and cleared away, before it gets to wet.

This is often forgotten. Any waste removal comes with a cost attached to it and therefore needs to be added in to your projected spend. 🧱

Here’s our top waste removal tips!

🧱Don’t over order, use a professional and experienced builder or project manager to ensure there’s minimal wastage.

🧱Recycle what you can think about selling your garage or kitchen units, why not create furniture from old roof purlins?

🧱Hire a skip or arrange a grab wagon to collect your waste.

🧱Check if you need specialist removal firm for hazardous waste, plasterboard and asbestos for example.
