Pre school have been making some safari animal pictures following the children’s interest in animals🦓🐆🐘. They have also been making their own dinosaurs in the play dough 🦖🦕

We can't wait to attend the Nursery World Magazine Awards TOMORROW as finalists in the 'Nursery Group of the Year' category! 🫶

The evening at The Brewery in London gives us the opportunity to celebrate and share success within our remarkable early years sector and we wish all finalists the best of luck. 🌟

Toddlers have been having fun exploring pirate themed activities this week

Today babies and toddlers enjoyed their first messy play session provided by bump and beyond wellbeing. They had an amazing time exploring the farm themed play

It's been so lovely this month seeing our nurseries and families work together for ! 🥰

Lots of nurseries have gathered old toys and clothes to take to their local charities, and the children have loved going to drop them off and pick out new toys and books for their rooms! 🧩

Babies have been exploring different activities using their senses. They used their sense of smell, taste and touch to explore oranges and lemons.

Pre school have been exploring fizzing ice. They were encouraged to use the pipettes to drop different coloured vinegar on the ice to see what happened. This helped to develop their fine motor skills, turning taking and language around what they could see happening.

Did you know that this week is UK Savings Week? 💰

This is a nationwide initiative set up to share ideas on how to start saving money! 💷

Toddlers having been exploring different mark making techniques. They enjoyed using cars and ramps to make marks on the paper and down the ramps.

Today one of the practitioners (Boy Sam) brought in a lovely biscoff cake for his colleagues to enjoy.

Babies having been learning about different movements, pulling, shaking, throwing and rolling.

How Kids Planet look after our hard-working teams | Kids Planet Nurseries It's important to us to support the people who work with us to flourish, whilst providing the best support for the little ones in our care.

Pre school have been practicing their fine motor skills, using pipettes to drop coloured water onto laminated paper into the correct colour circles. Some decided to drop the water onto the laminated paper and then using a stick to move the water across the paper into the correct circle.

Choosing a nursery is no easy task for parents, and there’s only one sure way to decide if you like a nursery, and that is to see it in person! 👨‍👨‍👧‍👧

Visiting a nursery will allow you the opportunity to meet the staff, find out more about them and their experience, and ensure the setting is clean, safe and well-equipped. 🧸

Our wonderful Basford nursery packed up a jungle themed picnic and headed to their local care home recently to visit their friends over a lunch packed with animal themed activities! 🐯

Intergenerational learning is something we regard very highly here at Kids Planet - we're so very lucky to have lots of partnerships across the UK with local organisations who are happy to co-host 'mix and mingle' sessions so our littlest ones can learn from and make friends with the more experienced generations. 🥰

And learning aside...look at how much fun we all have! 🤸‍♀️

Toddlers have been exploring different mark making methods. They used food colouring to make marks on bread using the Olympic rings as inspiration. They talked about the different colours they were using and then toasted the bread for their snack.

Our July team wellbeing event was 'National Picnic Month' 🥗🥖

This is something we always take part in with the children, but we brought into our team meetings, staff rooms and head office to get it on the fun ourselves! 🥰

The aim was to create a relaxing, fun outdoor experience focused on wellbeing, team building and relaxation! We think we did a pretty good job! ✨🧘
