Something creepy is happening at Knaresborough Castle this weekend 🧟‍♀️

It's hosting a Creepy Castle Halloween trail aimed at 4 to 10 years from Saturday to Monday between 2pm to 8pm.

A Tween Scream, aimed at 8 to 14 year olds, is on Friday between 6pm to 9pm.

Have your say about the proposed pump track in Valley Gardens.

North Yorkshire Council are proposing to install a pump track above the play area in Valley Gardens.

A pump track is a looped circuit using the natural bumps and bends of the land with a compacted hardcore surface for bikes and scooters. This would complement the play area and skate park giving additional activity for children up to the age of 10 years.

This new facility would be approximately 2000 square metres and would replace the existing pitch and putt golf course.

Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 November from 9.30am until 3.30pm. Free entry and dog friendly.

Today we had a great day at the Yorkshire in Bloom awards in Tadcaster.

The Valley Gardens, Harrogate were awarded Platinum. Thanks go to our amazing gardening team and Friends Of Valley Gardens Harrogate. Very well deserved.

We were also awarded Platinum for Ripon Spa Gardens, Gold for Knaresborough Castle and Silver Gilt for Conyngham Hall. Credit goes to the hard work of all our gardening teams.
