Calling all Brownie, Guides. Cubs,scouts, primary schools ! Bupa Southlands is holding its annual scarecrow festival and we are wanting as many teams as possible to join in !!
We need them displaying in our garden at Southlands and there will be prizes for the top three most imaginative scarecrows!

Hallie was given a Southlands award for being the most outstanding Line Dancer ๐! She gave it her all and enchanted us with her dancing skills !! Her lovely smile ๐ and both hers and Carters manners - it is a pleasure to have you both in the home and judging by jeans smile ๐ great nana thinks so as well !!
Mmmm ๐ anyone for a nice piece of our old favourite โค๏ธ Victoria Sandwich- yes please said the residents along with a lovely cuppa ๐ต it certainly hit the spot!

Itโs not just the residents who enjoy ๐ a party ๐ฅณ!! As you can see our staff had a great time as well ! From dancing and singing ๐ต to trying to line dance ๐บ! To having fun with the residents !!

We painted Australian Aboriginal dot paintings today. We did watched a video before to see how itโs created and made beautiful pieces. ๐จ๐จ๐จ
Today we continued our Australian trip - we visited Barrier Reef. We did colour some corals and had fun of talking about the beauty of the Ocean. ๐ฌ๐๐ชผ๐ชธ
We love our arts and crafts at Southlands! And this afternoon weโve been busy making hand print turtles. Donโt they look amazing?! ๐๏ธ๐จ๐ข๐จโ๐จ

Celebrating International Cat Day on our Arts and Crafts session. We had chats about cats during the activity and had a lot of fun naming them all at the end.
Our Olympic Games are still on! We had a swimming duck race today, some ducks went flying! Everyone was laughing a lot while having fun. ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
Shooting with balloons and flicking the chicken at our Olympic Games Competition. We had a lot of fun and laughing loud when the ballon was flying around our Ball Room. ๐๐๐
We enjoyed a morning session of Tai Chi. Our lovely Residents felt relaxed and calm after. ๐ช๐ง๐ช
Today we started our Australian Fly Drive Tour - we went on a virtual tour around Sydney and chatted about Opera House. We collected a lot of smiles on the way. ๐ฆ๐บ๐ฆ๐จ
