August Bank Holiday weekend 🌻

How did we get here already, this year is flying by 🤯

It’s been been a busy blur of contending with the weather and chasing lots of plants down the street, mini weddings (and the odd not so mini 😅) creating beautiful funeral tributes, delivering LOTS of bouquets and the general trials and tribulations of running a florist shop 🤪

Helianthus aka The Sunflower! One of our favourite summer blooms, so bright and happy 💛

We’ve had a rather special delivery 🌱🌱🌱

Thai constellation 🪴 a beautifully marbled and speckled cultivar of Monstera Deliciosa.

Sure to add curiosity and interest to any plant collection, their easier to care for than other variegated varieties. They require good light levels due to the lack of chlorophyll in their cream leaves, but not direct sun! And a little water once a week or so from the bottom of their pot.

Although we can count on one hand the number of bouquets we delivered yesterday for Father’s Day. It was a lovely little reminder that guys love to receive flowers too 😁🌻🌹🌸

Marimo moss balls are back 💚

These curious aquatic plants are actually a form of algae and so easy to care for.
Naturally forming and growing on the bottom of lakes they require indirect light. Keep them cool and change the water in their little jars every couple of weeks 😁

Lily of the Valley on a beautiful, bright spring Saturday morning 🤍

Is it just us or does it feel like someone’s turned the thermostat right down? 🥶💨🌧️

Opening our delivery this morning to the cutest Sweet Williams, British Alstromeria bunches and pretty pastel, scented British Stocks genuinely put a massive smile on our faces. A little reminder sunnier days are coming ☀️🐝☀️
