This year we're supporting the Haslemere Food Bank again! We are in awe of all the brilliant work they do and the life line they provide for families in need. This year for their gift appeal they're asking for book tokens, and we want to help in any way we can!

Purchase a book token between now and the 13th December to give the gift of reading to a local child or family in need this Christmas. For every voucher bought, we will donate an extra 20%.

We are incredibly excited to announce that anthologist Ana Sampson will be visiting the shop on the 22nd April (Earth Day!) to sign copies of Wonder and talk all things poetry!
Wonder, her new anthology out in paperback, is a breathtaking compilation of poems inspired by The Natural History Museum’s collections. From the prehistoric past to the outer reaches of the universe and everything in between, Wonder is suitable for ages 8+ (including adults!)
Wonder is available to buy now and we'll have plenty of copies to purchase on the day of Ana's event too!

We have just one week left until we have to close our Christmas Gift Drive. This year, our aim is to give a gift token to every child whose family comes to the Haslemere Food Bank. We're around £400 off the amount we need to achieve this.

We're getting everyone reading with our children's summer challenge! There are 8 prompts, and all you need to do is: read a different book for each challenge, complete the form, and get it back to us by 10th September to be in with the chance of winning one of five £10 Haslemere Bookshop vouchers 🤩

We have loads of recommendations on our website for 5 year olds through to teens - and of course we can point you in the right direction. We have links to the form online as well as paper copies in the shop.
