One of my 2 back days per week. This was my "row" based day or thickness day.

Splitting back into a rowing day and a pull down day has been game changing for me. I get sore after most sessions and I'm seeing growth for sure.

My personal opinion is that training a muscle 2 x per week is more beneficial for growth than just training it once per week.

Once per week muscle training is basically a pro split. Pro split because pros only need to train any specific muscle once per week as they most likely are already quite developed. Whereas us mere mortals need more stimulus than that. Again this is my opinion.

Stubborn fat located on the lower belly or the love handles (side of the hips)

It's easy to get to this level of leaness in the picture. It's getting leaner than this that's the hard part. To get rid of that stubborn belly fat you've got to push to the body past its comfort levels.

The body stores fat as an energy source. Throughout most of human history calories weren't as readily available as they are today so the body is programmed to hold onto calories/energy/fat in any way possible.

When trying to get super lean the body doesn't cooperate as it goes into survival mode. This is why you have to dig deep and over ride the natural mechanisms at work.

I'm not saying it's completely healthy to be extremely shredded but it's not completely healthy to smoke ci******es eat McDonald's and drink pints either is it....

Throwback to a few years ago.

Looking at this pic I can see my right scapula isn't retracted and I'm still dealing with this issue today.

It's humbling to look back and see that you're doing something incorrectly and because of this I'm dealing with shoulder issues on the right side to due loading without proper form.

As narcissistic as some people may think it is to be constantly taking videos and pictures whilst training it does provide an educational and corrective edge using images as a tool.

1️⃣ Tracking steps (fit bit)
2️⃣ Tracking macros (my fitness pal)
3️⃣ 4 litres of water daily
4️⃣ Min 7 hours 30 minutes of sleep daily
5️⃣ Quality foods
6️⃣ Proper training technique and intensity

I have to say I'm very happy with this transformation.We started this journey last July and took a slow and steady approach. The goal was to see some visible abs and we accomplished that. Rohit had been training for a few years before I started working with him but had never achieved that look that he wanted. I desigend a diet to fit his needs and taught him my training methods. We had lots of pt sessions during the process in which I could really show him how I wanted the moves performed I had included in his training program. We got the abs but I have to say I'm very proud of the back development and the difference we've made there as well. All in all hes lost 20kg and taken 10.5 inches off his waist. The goal is to get leaner than this when I start the cut in a couple months. For now we keep the calories high and continue to raise the intensity from week to week during training sessions.
As cliché as it is, enjoying the process is so rewarding right now.
