Pippa and I have been through Highwater this week in order to get to the shop, finally resorting to a child’s boat to transport my poorly pooch. It has been a mission, but I was so happy to see so many of you facing the rain to come and refill. Thank you all ❤️. How about you? Are you going to make one small change this week? There will always be a warm welcome Especially if you have come to refill. 👍

Take a stroll down Friday Street and you will find a treasure trove of loose free-weight items to purchase either in brown paper bags or by using your own jars, containers, cotton bags etc.
As well as free-weight grocery items the small facade hides a huge array of delicious lunch items as well as hot drinks, cakes and arguably the best ice cream in town!
With a surprisingly large stock range and at competitive prices you can shop guilt-free and without taking home any single-use plastic.
Jane (Owner of The Willow Basket) is an eco pioneer, bringing a much needed ethical shopping option to Henley-On-Thames. With her friendly and personal approach she has created a haven where important conversations flow, children are showered with attention and importance, and where adults can purchase plastic-free staples with a clear conscience. Jane’s friendly approach makes shopping fun again and it’s clear to see how inspired she is with the movement. Jane believes that we can all do our bit and that we don’t need to be perfect to be making a difference.
